A conversation between two friends about how to navigate their independent love lives. When our relationships start getting serious, we tend to ask our friends what they think we should do. Sometimes they agree with our intentions and sometimes they don’t. No matter what they say though, we need to remember that whatever we do, we have to do it because it’s what we actually want. We have to follow what is in our hearts.

Humanity has a natural tendency to speculate. We often find ourselves questioning everything from actions of world leaders to “facts” that pop up on our timelines. With this in mind, we must also understand that uncertainty is essential to progress. Overtime, we have looked to ease the feeling of uncertainty by crafting new avenues of catharsis, some of which may not be long-term solutions. MEGA PIXEL seek to convey this idea on How Long by presenting the narrative of an individual answering their own questions with more questions only to grow more frustrated with the ongoing cycle. The song demonstrates how a calm rain can turn into a storm. This is part of the human experience.

Lava is more than a four on the floor collage of chaos that brings Jason Bourne and Bowser together. This densely structured pop tune provides a thumping commentary on the frantic state of the modern world. Sometimes we find ourselves overwhelmed with life’s uncertainties and close to our breaking point but that doesn’t mean we can’t embrace the ambiguity at the same time.

After realizing that things may not work out the way you planned, you have to figure out how to move forward. Dwelling on the past too much will inevitably prevent the you from fully enjoying the present and as age sets in, being honest with yourself becomes more and more valuable.  Every now and then life throws us a fresh start, so having closure means knowing that it’s ok to take advantage of whatever opportunities lie ahead.  There is no instruction manual to being ‘you’.
