GORE TECH & MEGATON - Oblivion

Megaton was conceived in Mega-Yard mk1 in Harlesden near the birthplace, well midwife-erm-place, really, of Red Stripe, amongst the neon glow of Sam's chicken and the betting shops. Daniel (AGHAST!) and Martyn (Section'd) had the "idea" of infusing Daniel's 1337 metal bass guitar skillz and Martyn's proper sik production skillz yo, and ended up with what would later become MEGATON. Shortly after, Theo (Reprisal) was drafted in, in order to help with recording extra bass lines and generally to also help by telling us to make it "sound like that, but better".

From there the Cerberus of dubstep (as nobody except Gore Tech calls us...) have gone on to smash out their second ep, including remixes of deathmetal band AGHAST! and a remix of a classical/idm tune by the aforementioned Gore.

Megaton are avid music fans, listening to a spread of extreme metal, hip hop and all sorts of blip blop music including but not exclusively dubstep and dnb.

Having cut their teeth on the squat rave scene, and eventually moving into "legit" raves, Megaton have had the pleasure of playing with (no homo) Dj Havoc, Dolphin, Toxic Earwig,  KZA , London Zoo, JKL, Hoolio, J Majik, Jumping Jack Frost, Gore Tech and Broken Note!
