Though it was not apart of the original tracklist, “Breakthrough” was a necessary addition to “2021”. The purpose of this song is to lay the groundwork for some of what has been in my head and on my heart for a while. This song was written and recorded in one session. I hope that you enjoy.

This song was the last to be written or recorded for “2021”. “It’s On Now” is supposed to be a celebratory track; referencing what is to come in the future as if it has already happened. The lyrics also express the hope and desires that I have for the hometown in which I was raised.

This is the final track, and I just kinda expressed how I feel sometimes. At the end, you can hear another preview into something else that's coming. Keep your ears out for that. I had fun with all of this. Stayed up late and just kept listening to everything. But always remember: be aware/stay woke/dont quit.

This song is meant to be unselfish. This is for anybody whose ever felt like this. I wrote this song at a very confusing time this year, but I can't say that I have wanted to do any of what I mentioned in the song. But, I know people who have. Please be aware, and watch for others behavior, because it may not concern you, but before you know it, that person is gone.

Last Breath

Last Breath represents the aftermath; the feelings after my father's last breath. This song gives insight to what I have felt since that day. You never know how long you have to be around; appreciate those around you. It gives insight to how/why I do what I do when it comes to sustaining and building upon my father's legacy. I wonder what things would've been like; I know what I have to do.
