I had the privilege of seeing IZ a couple of times while living in Hawai'i.  The first and most-profound was when I happened upon him playing in front of the student center on my first day at UH Manoa.  I will never forget his radiance.  Mahalo, IZ.  Ke Akua pu a hui ho.

I love you.  I'm sorry.  Please forgive me.  Thank you.

Ho'oponopono is an ancient form of Hawai'ian healing where you, the afflicted or the healer, chant those phrases over and over again while directing your healing energy.  I have long meditated on the question of what is the difference between a poem, a prayer, chant and song.  One day, I was in need of some healing energy myself and I found myself singing these phrases, improvising the melody you hear on this track.  I wondered what would happen if music was added.  

I love you.  I'm sorry.  Please forgive me.
