A little patch I made to test out my latest recording setup. Utilized the 2hp pluck module, the latest entry to my eurorack collection. I had a lot of fun with this one, and am happy that my home studio is coming into place ^_^

Plucky Solar

Testing out the Numeric Repetitor from Noise Engineering, and ended up with this little song ^_^

Sound sources are Solar 42f, Pluck, Coral, Elmyra, and Lyra 8.

Numeric Journey

I acquired the Rample eurorack module recently, and found a preset sample bank that just "clicked" for me. Accompanied by the Solar 42f, and heavily mixed with delays and reverb ^_^

Rample Duet

Found out that The Flashbulb (aka Benn Jordan) has made some of the samples in my newest module, so of course I had to "find" a song in it ^_^

The result of noodling around on my synths for a week, also started from an idea I got when exploring the Rample module ^_^

Little Ghost

Another patch that has evolved/simmered over a couple of days. The Oxi Coral is doing a lot of the interesting parts here, together with a sound from Equator2.

Continuous Shimmer

I received my newest instrument today, the Chromaplane, and immediately had to embed it in my latest creation, a patch that has evolved over the last couple of days. The Solar 42f contributed with some nice, evolving bass that functioned as a baseline for the song.

Granted, I could've tuned the Chromaplane better, as it is a bit off at times. But I didn't want to overthink it, and wanted to finish the song so that I can start on a new project with the Chromaplane ^_^

Treacherous Path

Came across a neat little arpeggio that I wanted to combine with some more lengthy sounds from the Chromaplane. Turned out to be tricky to keep interesting for a longer time, so added some pads and bass from Equator2 as well.

Arps and Howls

I've been playing around on the Elmyra, and experimenting with a technique that produces a rhythmic bass drone. The result is somewhat random, and I was very pleased when I managed to record the one that made the base for this song ^_^

The Solar 42f comes in with some harmonic drones, and the Chromaplane fills out the mid space a bit more. I also added a sound from Equator2, to back up the higher notes from Solar.

It's a slow burn, and I recommend letting concepts such as rhythm go =p Enjoy ^_^

Glory to Elmyra

A composition of sounds from analog synths and a Kontakt plug-in named Nordic Echoes (and a little bit of Equator2). NE elevates samples with Hardanger fiddle (and to my surprise, a little mouth harp as well).

Nordic Echoes

The result from a session yesterday. The Solar 42f kinda stole the show for me, both providing a textural background of drones, but also an arpeggio that I had a lot of fun tweaking. 

I'm also happy with the beat; when I locked in the final groove element using Collide 4 and Rainmaker, I knew I wanted to turn this into something I could upload and share.

There's also a generative patch, created using the Oxi One and setting probability for various notes, that goes through most of the song. It's a bit weird, but I find it somewhat charming, and creates more movement.

Finally there's Serum 2 providing the long, higher-pitched sounds that come about 1/3-1/2 into the song.

Finding the Groove

Was playing around on the Solar 42f, feeding it a sequence from a Turing Machine eurorack module that's been quantized, and came across a very catchy sequence of notes. Combined with a generative patch that I made using the Oxi One and Oxi Coral, they became the base for this song.

I added some layers with Serum 2 and Decent Sampler, which contributed with some longer tones.

I had fun recording it, hope you enjoy listening to it ^_^

Soft Techno Lullaby

I make music in my spare time. Mostly just playing around on my instruments and exploring sounds. Very fond of eurorack synths and generally leaning toward ambience and experimental type of songs.
