recently rediscovered live dj set recorded at the cannabis cup party, amsterdam 1996. 

contains no anthems, just class underground sounds.

Minimal Techno Minimal House  1996

this tune was never meant to be liked. 
i used nasty synths and an unpleasant vocal to challenge the listener. it didn't really work as the few people that have heard it, love it. you weren't supposed to like it.

all sounds in this work are generated from scratch. any similarities to presets, living or dead is purely coincidental.

having previously only mixed with vinyl, a new digital era is forced upon meh.
the sole surviving (imitation) technics now only has one channel and i have no desire to master the single turntable mono mix

the tunes continue to be quality underground house with a techno edge....and still no anthems.

note: track 1 in this mix was censored by the soundcloud police. the edited replacement tune is a bit pop but the nice bass synth wins.

synth nerd. 
creative dabbler in audio and visual arts. 

the tunes on this profile represent a selection of my first year of experimenting with music production.

it never quite made the grade, but i also realised that i never would.  i create and sculpt sound from the oscillator up. techno and house ain't the place for that.
djs need tunes that stick to the formula or it isn't gonna mix.

i love this genre, but i need more scope to experiment.
