- Devotional Jewish psalm, Soft tribal African, and a melodic guitar piece by a French-Moroccan composer,
- American folk, traditional Indian music, and Ragga-Jungle, all infused with BASS
- A truely cross-genre one-song-journey by Shpongle
- A remix of a classical spanish-guitar piece
- A groovy hip-hop remix of a legendary soul anthem
- A tribal Brazilian song

Edits gestados no casulo por anos com camadas de samples do céu da boca de mulheres tempestuosas, bases dos gemidos graves da Terra em um ritmo oceânico que vai de 70 a 140 bpm.

A paulistana Ágatha Barbosa (aka Cigarra) deflora seus sets há 9 de seus 29 anos e agora, renascida, finaliza este primeiro EP com músicas que fizeram parte desta história mais recente do seu trabalho de recortes.

Suas pesquisas têm base em culturas tanto ancestrais e orgânicas quanto urbanas e sintéticas, e de eletrônicos guetificados ao rock psicodélico.

Producer and multi-instrumentalist Piper Street Sound, aka Matt Mansfield of Atlanta, Ga, returns with Barrier Island. Dedicated to the imperiled Cumberland Island, this work reflects Mansfield's deep love for Georgia's wild places and the inspiration found there.  

This is music for runs through foggy dawns. Four instrumental pieces of nuanced electronic production afloat within a cloud of Dub effects and natural soundscapes. Sonic suggestions of water, birds, and insects feature throughout, culminating in the end piece ‘al·lu·vi·al’, an exploration into dripping rhythms and splashes of Dub-infused spring reverb.  Piper Street's stock-and-trade multi-layered mechanical tapestry approach is here woven with acoustic instruments and hand played percussion. Mansfield’s last few works had a dizzying effect while Barrier Island shows the producer in a more intimate, personal light. Where once were strident flourishes, now are found slowly-dawning epiphanies. Dark themes that on earlier work seemed ominous, here are more plaintive. This is an EP of quiet beauty, tinged with an urgent plea for ecological balance. 

Cumberland Island, the inspiration for this EP, is one of the last undeveloped barrier islands on the East Coast. Once owned in turns by the Spanish military, plantation-based agricultural concerns, and Gilded Age robber barons, the bulk of the island was gifted in perpetuity to the National Parks Department to remain a wild, undeveloped National Seashore in 1972. Cumberland Island is at the time of this writing in danger of being carved up and developed. Disruption of the aquatic and avian species and their food sources that season on and around Cumberland Island would have disastrous effects on a global scale.

La plataforma NLB da a conocer un compilado que reúne a 13 artistas brasileños, que rescatan los sonidos más esenciales de nuestra cultura americana mezclados con la electrónica global.

Un Mapa con artistas de la nueva escena folktrónica brasileña que merecen ser escuchados. Beats envolventes, sonidos experimentales de funk y muchas referencias a los sonidos identitarios del país.

Un trabajo que contó con la curatoría de Felipe Delgado (Tropical Twista Records) y Murúa (Sello Regional), quienes logran plasmar en distintos momentos la diversidad de sonidos, ritmos y colores de la escena actual de música electrónica.

Mención aparte para el arte del disco que estuvo a cargo del artista brasileño Thiago Barbalho.
