“Answer” was born from pure chance and pure connection. Danny T & Tradesman posted an upbeat dancehall riddim on Instagram, and as a longtime fan of their work, Indra MC dropped a quick freestyle over it and sent it their way — no expectations, no prior link. They felt the vibe immediately.

But when they went to finish the track, the original project was gone — so they rebuilt the tune from scratch, transforming it into the heavy, driving stepper you hear today. Same vocal, whole new energy. A complete twist of fate that ended up creating a tune that’s been lighting up dances ever since.

Lyrically, “Answer” comes from the frontline: calling out inequality, racist institutions, political greed, the growing class divide, media lies, and the rise of far-right rhetoric. It’s protest art in the long tradition of reggae — music for awareness, unity, resistance, and collective strength.

“Answer” is a reminder that the struggle is shared, the power belongs to the people, and the many will always outweigh the wealthy few.

Artists :
Indra is a dynamic, multi-genre vocalist hailing from Bristol. Rooted in Soundsystem and reggae music from a child, he infuses performances with captivating melodies, agile flows, and conscious lyrics. Known for energetic live shows, Indra collaborates with top European artists – including Danny t & tradesman, Lewis Bennett, Toroki, mystic Fyah and High Nebra – yielding multiple releases and features. After electrifying audiences across some of Europe's biggest festivals, Indra is crafting some exciting upcoming projects, so watch this space!

Danny T & Tradesman are a production and selectors duo from Leeds, UK, known for their signature blend of digital reggae, dancehall, and heavy UK steppers. Rooted in sound-system culture, their music bridges classic 80s/90s dancehall flavours with fresh, modern bass-driven energy—making them favourites among selectors and MCs across Europe.
Their collaborations with Pure Niceness Records have produced some of their most notable works, including standout EPs and remix projects that highlight their sharp melodic sense and rugged sound-system craftsmanship.
Danny T & Tradesman also collaborate closely with Mental Stamina Records, contributing heavy riddims and dub versions designed for deep, immersive, speaker-shaking sessions. Their productions for the label reflect their versatility: roots-influenced, dancehall-ready, and always engineered with the sound-system dance in mind.
