Silk Royal welcomes Dan & Sam to the imprint for their debut release, "Breaking The Illusion". This incredibly gifted duo consists of Dan Sieg and Sam Wilkinson, who hail from the States and Australia, respectively. On this particular release, Japanese label veteran Shingo Nakamura contributes the sole remix, which is truly as emotive and timeless as the original.

Dan & Sam's Original Mix is a melancholic, yet uplifting progressive trance anthem, which effectively channels the emotional energy required to 'break the illusion' of a previously blissful relationship. It begins with a chunky rhythm and "teaser" guitar pluck, which hints at the incisive theme that is featured in the main break. A powerful low-end energy emerges after the 32-bar intro, soon followed by higher-octave chord layers and subtle piano-based melodic themes. At the quarter turn, an awe-inspiring progression arrives: numerous layers create a deeply moving and haunting theme, upon which the remainder of the song builds. In the subsequent breakdowns, various variations on these themes are introduced, all of which wax and wane in intensity and emotional resonance. The end result is a truly breath-taking slice of progressive - one that has quickly become one of our favorite offerings in Silk Royal's label history.

Summer warmth ebbs gently away replaced by autumnal overtures. A year has passed in the twinkling of sun sparkled eye and another collection of tracks converge, lighting a path to "Where Horizon Sparks" into glowing tribute. Twenty offerings of beauty and grace nourish the airwaves with warmth and iridescent glow. 

Voices echo from a distant past, catching on wavering breeze. Haunting vocals combine with emotive piano and whispering strings; a tear: perhaps shed in memory of what has once gone before, evaporating in cool night air; a smile follows and the promise of brighter future beckons. The clouds coalesce and we dream, waiting for the stars to reveal futures untold. Fireworks fizz and crackle in percussive rhythms, the smell of sulphur reminiscent of the autumn to follow. 

You are the sun, shimmering in golden glow as light refracts off a billion water particles in sea of azure and rainbow mist. Beaches filled with half-formed sculptures tell tales of childhood fascinations of castles and fairy tales, belying their former purpose in gateway to conquering worlds and voyages of discovery. 
Melody and rhythm dance and play; sparks fly and a new day dawns on bright horizon.

One of Anjunabeats’ most well-known artists, he continues to be a force to be reckoned with on the label. Yuriy Mikhailov aka MEHÍLOVE - music producer, remixer, dj.
Born in Kiev (Ukraine) on October 24, 1986 in a family of musicians (parents - Honored Artists of Ukraine. Mom is a singer, Dad is a jazz guitarist).

Began writing music from an early age, when the first synthesizer appeared in the house. In 2000 graduated with honors a music school on the class of piano.

When faced with a choice, to go further in music or go to get higher education, decided to go to university on a programmer specialty.
But already in the first year it became clear that writing music is exactly what he would like to associate with his whole future life. Having studied various DAWs, started to create author's tracks and remixes.

Creative career began in 2010 and already in December of the same year his track "Shine On" was confessed by the best in style of "Progressive" on a competition "The Best Track In Ukraine 2010".

Works of MEHÍLOVE are produced on such well-known labels, as Anjunabeats, Monstercat Silk, Armada Music, Black Hole Recordings, Perfecto Records, Infrasonic Recordings, Alter Ego Records and many other.

His tracks and remixes not one time sounded and continue to sound in such radio shows, as "A State Of Trance" by Armin Van Buuren, " Group Therapy " by Above & Beyond, "Planet Perfecto" by Paul Oakenfold and many other.

As a deejay, MEHÍLOVE played the sets on one stage with such stars of world scale, as Richard Durand, Ronski Speed, Swanky Tunes, Tucandeo, DJ IRA and others.

Basic music directions are "Progressive House" and "Progressive Trance", but MEHÍLOVE does not limit himself in a certain style of electronic music and continues to experiment, creating music in different genres.
