Trying to catch the wind with my hands,,,,,   but failing.

200 th upload here on SC,,, thats pretty sad in a way,, but maybe good. The hour of revisiting all these songs is upon me I think,,, clean out and rewrite,, see what is good and what is not. This is such a lovely window though, which I can open once in awhile and throw out what I´m feeling at the time.

This song came out of nowhere to be honest, result of being deep in thought, and result of strange times. It´s based on interval of small seconds that travel around, and in the end I feel like it´s one of the most presentable solo piano pieces I´ve done here on SC. However since it´s pretty aggressive at times I´m quite sure it won´t go down in SC´s history, but it´s going to be part of my own history at least.

This is one of my first recordings using tape.  I purchased a Revox B77 reel to reel tape machine - I'm pleased with the results.

I haven't used any digital effects in the creation of this to keep the recording as authentic as possible.

I used a Yamaha U1 upright piano with two Rode NT5 mics recorded directly onto a Revox B77 reel-to-reel tape recorder.

A simple lullaby waltz created on 11 Jan 2013.
