When i heard this young guy playing for the first time, i was pretty hooked: not only by his mixing skills, but also by the constant positive energies he was able to transmit to the dancing crowd at an early evening summer dance in Vienna’s Votivpark. 

Mathias Baumgart aka Specific Objects released his stunning debut on Vienna based Meat Recordings in April 2017 and also contributed with a trippy techno stomper to MEAT Recordings first Various Artists Vinyl EP, which will be released at the end of 2017. Specific Objects is not only a great blessing for Vienna’s techno scene, he will also play an integral part in the future development of the MEAT Recordings family for sure. His exclusive mix for sama recordings features music by Techno mainstays like Oscar Mulero, Subjected or Kwartz combined with underground stuff from less known producers and an unreleased track of himself. 

This mix is dedicated to all the true techno lovers out there.

Born in Luxembourg but currently living in Vienna, MÆLANIN run into techno music in 2012 and her love for it has been inexhaustible since then. In summer 2015, she came across with turntable and vinyl, finding quite fast her passion for collecting records. She has a taste for deep and dark yet driving dancefloor techno.
