A New York City based performer, producer and songwriter; Melanie Mercer began her music career at the early age of 14 while writing and lead singing for hard-hitting bands at some of NYC’s greatest music venues.

This path led her to focus more on the craft of songwriting and she began to showcase and play countless events with only her acoustic guitar and “charged emotional set of pipes.” – Metal Maidens

Her song, “Sudden Surrender” a more emotionally gripping ballad was featured during the opening and closing credits for the documentary, “Demons and Angels” and placed in the MTV series “Teen Mom.”

Melanie continued to collaborate on electronic dance music projects, and in turn sang on commercial electro-pop tracks for internationally based independent DJs and producers.
