Since 2018 @dycide and the @iorecs collective have amassed an impressive catalogue of immersive techno with notable releases from MTRL, Epsilon and Polygonia (who appeared on Inchmix053).
Dycide’s production always returns to the theme of escapism and for Inchmix073 he weaves together a restrained, yet pulsating narrative exploring hypnotic structures and percussive patterns .

With autumn around the corner we're pleased to present the ninth chapter of the Navigare Audio Podcast. This time it's Hydrous from Norway, who will also release an amazing EP very soon on our label, that are the composer. This set also include some of the music from the upcoming EP of him. 

"I had a lot of fun making this episode for Navigare Audio's great podcast series.
I created this mix very much inspired by a couple of DJ sets I was finally able to play this summer for some great dancefloors. I focused on a journey with movement, starting in the slower realms steadily moving upwards in intensity before bringing it down again at the end, with a focus on a sound rooted in the deep and psychedelic. Included are a few unreleased tracks of my own, including tracks from an upcoming release with Navigare, which I am very much looking forward to!"

His vision of techno is quite ritualistic, the aim is to generate dark but yet groovy and impactful atmospheres. He using hypnotic sounds to impact your mind, body and soul. 

"This is my personal journey through universe shaped into sound", tells he about his music. This mix is a journey too — "dark and trippy ride through a foggy forest, driven by the obscure force of the surrounding nature".

ARTIST'S BIO:
Originally from Galati and currently based in Brasov, near the Carpathian Mountains, Ștefan Stîncescu, under the DJ name Kethal, uses tactful ways of mixing rhythms while bringing stories and tales to our ears and vibrations. He started mixing from the age of 17 and was first introduced to clubs before that. About 1 year later, he had already discovered the Progressive, Trance and Techno music along with their sub-genres and started mixing in a club where he met artists from the Electronic Music scene, mostly the same genres. He hold residencies in 2 clubs from different cities, in both playing and mixing with all types of music but with a quest to better his skills. After experimenting with the previous residencies, while shifting through types of music, he went completely in 2010 diving into House and micro Techno music for a discovery journey which lasted 8 years, until his comeback to Techno. Thereafter his exploration of diverse vibrations and frequencies he managed to create unique styles. A blend of dynamic and distinct sound while playing at Minimal parties. An interfusion of organic spaces, deep and hypnotic rhythms when mixing at Techno gatherings, with the purpose of raising the collective consciousness. Inspired by mountains and organic algorithms.

His progressive sessions, profound and with long mixes, are real voyages that sail through experimental music, ambient and horizontal and dubby techno.

His productions are 4x4 experiments of low tempo with field recordings and marked spaces, where he explores timbres, textures and cinematographic structures. He is resident at the Alpenglühen and Taiga sessions and owner of the label Antimatter together with Bule.

He is also the owner of Alpenglühen (the label) focused in deep and ambient techno which explores the thin line between light and darkness.

Lindsey Wang, also known as Polygonia, is a versatile art & music project based in Munich, Germany. It's my pleasure to welcome Yan to the podcast, co-founder of Harmony Rec. and beloved resident of Prague's Ankali. We finally crossed paths in Japan last fall, playing together in Shibuya in what became one of my favorite memories of the year before heading off to the one-and-only Labyrinth.

Having just celebrated their sixth anniversary and with six label releases now under their belt, the Harmony Rec. crew have a lot to celebrate.
