"Oh Love," the brand new EP by Ghosten, out on September 27th in all digital versions, marks the debut of Ghosten on Apparel Music and it's set to make waves on dancefloors everywhere, with the single "Oh Love" hitting the airwaves on September 13th, a prelude to this four-track EP. Ghosten is the fresh, funky alter ego of Theo, who has split from his former "Paxton Fettel" projects to embark on more specific sonic adventures. Ghosten encapsulates Theo's funky essence, delivering euphoric and groovy vibes. "Step Into The Light” opens the record with a delightful mix of nu jazz and house with a smooth, yet invigorating vibe that invites you to step into the light and get lost in the rhythm. Perfect for setting the mood and easing into the groove. “Higher" feat. Gabita, as the name suggests, this one takes things up a notch. With a faster pace designed for the dancefloor, "Higher" is all about getting your heartbeat racing and your feet moving. It's an energetic banger that will elevate any set and features the presence of Gabita, an Argentinian singer who, with her airy and classy singing style, adds the missing spice to this masterly crafted tune. "Oh Love” the title track and lead single, dropping on September 13th, is the heart and soul of the EP. "Oh Love" blends infectious melodies with a groove that is impossible to resist. It's euphoric, it's funky, and it's the kind of track that perfectly displays the talent of its composer. "Gotta Call Johnny”, rounding out the EP is this groovy, playful number. For this release we were approached by our friends at the Matsiko World Orphan Choir to collaborate on their single 'Rise', helping to spread their message of hope.

The mission of Matsiko World Orphan Choir is to use the unifying power of music to uplift every child, bring love, hope and joy to all who listen, and inspire the generosity that provides a complete education for vulnerable children.

Matsiko World Orphan Choir members are ambassadors of hope for the voiceless and invisible children of the world coming from Liberia, India, Peru and Nepal.

The choir featured in "Rise" are based in Liberia and have been on many tours of the USA, performing in over 38 states.

The project aims to use music and art to give a complete education to a further 10,000 of the world's poorest vulnerable and at-risk children and end the cycle of poverty.

The Matsiko World Orphan Choir's amazing music showcases their voices, talent and spirit, dismissing the myth that the poorest children in the world are worthless.

They are giving a voice to the voiceless, spreading love, hope and joy worldwide.

Sean McCabe’s Good Vibrations Music opens the vault for a peek inside some of its closely guarded and much-loved releases courtesy of this limited edition 12 inch. Featuring four new to vinyl releases and including a whole host of luminaries from across the soulful spectrum, this is sure to be a be a hot fave with long standing lovers of the label.

Glenn Underground’s jazz-funk fueled rework of 'This Place' kicks off and needs no introduction.  Heavily supported and much loved throughout soulful circles and beyond with Louie Vega, Dave Lee, Jimpster, Jamie 3:26 and Fred Everything all loudly banging the drum, people have been clamoring for this to be on vinyl and the label listened.  Up next is 'Modulate', a collaborative force of the highest order between Sean and long-time friend Black Sonix. Blurring the lines through deep, soulful, and house is somewhat of a specialty for the duo and there’s bags of all three flavours throughout alongside a hefty sprinkling of sun-kissed, Latino-inspired pianos.

On the B is 'Still Standing Here' that began in March ‘22 when vocalist Madeeha recorded an acapella in a phone message, quietly singing to avoid waking the neighbours. She sent the idea to drum & bass producer from Bristol, DJ Mixjah, who then approached Sean McCabe with the idea. Together they produced a hypnotic, afro-tinged, soulful backing track to fit the voice note, with an intention to re-record it in a studio environment. Sean and Mixjah soon realized what they had created blended perfectly with the sincerity, intimacy and rawness of Madeeha's heartfelt performance in the original and decided to stick with it. A firm fave for Atjazz, Crackazat , DJ Spen and Emmaculate. 

Closing out with 'You Don’t Know', a slick and energetic dancefloor bubbler from London based David Bailey and Canadian songstress MissFly. Bailey is a firm favourite amongst the London house music community, he’s produced standout releases on Idris Elba's 7wallace, Makin Moves, Good Vibrations Music, Rhemi Music and Unquantize. MissFly is known for her soulful serenades and ability to write songs 'on the fly'. She has carved out an impressive discography with soulful house nuggets like '1972,' 'Wanna Love You' and 'Thankful'.

A Life dedicated to music. Beautifully talented Melchior Sultana, Born in Malta, Is a composer and multi instrumentalist. Growing up in an atmosphere of rich traditions, culture and arts in the middle of the Mediterranean can deeply sculpt a spirit. Melchior Sultana represents music as an art with no boundaries.

Everything started by understanding the various forms of sound. This interest in "sounds" gradually led to experience, study, knowledge and to an ongoing evolution of an artist. His experiences and knowledge through out his musical career led to the believe that music is a form of art that needs to remain pure. this means that music and art in general should reflect one's true inner voice and artistic execution and not be infected by non-artistic entities. This philosophy was carried out and is being practiced through out his music.

As a multi instrumentalist playing Guitar, Piano and Bass, Melchior Sultana is involved in various projects from classical to contemporary to Live band and electronic music productions. Melchior Sultana performed live at some of the most prestigious places from Cafe Del Mar in Malta to Panorama Bar, Berghain, IPSE in Berlin, Tresor and Rex Club Paris. Previous works show the wide musical vocabulary of this artist and his open mentality approach to music.
