today, @Tomesc spins the decks for the sixth slightly damaged mix, and presents us with his vision of italo-disco, a vision that explores the deep influences of the genre, with its varied emotions, that impacted various artists through time. 

One out of the seven members of the great @modal-events crew, Tomesc offers us both gems from the first italo of the 80s, and tracks from the early 2000s with their distinctive synth signatures.

Massimiliano Di Fiore, known as Massi, was born in Naples, Italy, in the 90s. 
From a young age, he showed a passion for music, influenced by his mother who played the piano. He also had an interest in drums and guitar. During his teenage years, he began downloading music and creating mixtapes for friends while nurturing his love for hip-hop and basketball. 

Later on, he expanded his musical horizons, getting into electronic dance music in clubs. In 2018, he emerged as a talent as part of the duo Discoslutz resident of Vesuvius Soul Records. Subsequently, Massi pursued a solo career and moved to Barcelona.

Good friend of the label, we follow the path Theo since years now . He was immersed in vinyl culture at an early age with thousands of jazz, rock and classical records laying on the shelves of his home. 
Deeply fascinated by the endless quest for unknown records, he's more likely to be found on Discogs than on the dance-floor but this lifestyle has provided him with a diverse collection meticulously amassed over the past decade : from 80s weirdo house and 90s deep house to more dark and emotional stuff, always with underlying deepness.
