Into a world both wild and wonder.

Their souls caught in the magic spell,
As they danced with abandon and freedom,

[Premiere] Youthman - Get High (Craquages Collectifs)

We are pleased to unveil one track of the upcoming release of Lisbon-based @bleiddd on @discos_extendes.

BLEID is Mariana Freitas, DJ and producer, and one of the faces of the new generation of Portuguese club music. Together with Bruno Gonçalves and Inês Coutinho, they share part of the management and artistic direction of the cultural association “Planeta Manas”, the community radio “Rádio Quântica” and the queer rave “mina”.

'Subliminal' is very clearly a club record. A series of tracks in the 150/160 BPM range, anchored in a 4/4 rhythm, full throttle. Containing very few melodic elements, this is an EP anchored in the strength of rhythm. On the one hand, there is a certain familiarity with Chicago Footwork, mainly in the prevalence of certain rhythmic elements such as snare drums and the use of sliced vocal samples. The track “Get Down” is driven by voice samples and their multiple slices, combined with intricate rhythmic patterns. Footwork madness in full force.

"cough twice if you Care", a split EP she created with the artist fa:act, features two club tracks she crafted with IDM resonances and break influences: "Hot Girls Get Sad" and "SideQuest Nap". Together, they also released the track "Dust Drip", which shook numerous dancefloors.
