#114 presented by Tokyo based artist Ryogo Yamamori (@ryogoyamamoritracks). A brooding, eclectic mix which perfectly showcases his signature style. The Japanese producer has a sound reminiscent of the broader, ever-impressive Japanese techno scene, but always with his own signature take. 

Ryogo's DJ'ing & productions (often via his own label Kagerou),  immerse you in a dreamy atmosphere of organic & unique percussive  elements, underpinned by a sparse warmth & driving psychedelic techno energy.

La Vallée Électrique 2023 • Solarythm

Just in time, as every year, in February the sun slowly and majestically returns to the far north in a magnificent play of colors. 

And what goes better within this spectacular scenery than the warm, grounding baselines and hypnotic atmospheric sounds of Luigi Tozzi. 

In our next episode we are honored to present a mix of Paris based DJ and organizer Poussière Diamant. 

Julien, Founder of the "ART YOU OUT" collective (Paris), has invited and hosted many french and international artists in the last 10 years in France & Europe (Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Spain...). His DJ project,  Poussière Diamant explores the atmospheric, psychedelic and tribal side of deep hypnotic techno. In this edition he presents a mix to honor Luigi Tozzi's productions. 

Before we start, we are happy to hear a few words from Poussière Diamant about his affection of Luigi Tozzi. 


 "It's been 10 years since I discovered Luigi Tozzi, one of my favorite producers over the years (I've bought every one of his productions). A worthy heir to Dino Sabatini, Donato Dozzy and Giorgio Gigli, he has succeeded in making his own mark on the history of deep techno, thanks to his immense talent. I also appreciate his ability to constantly renew himself and explore new musical horizons, without ever losing sight of his musical DNA. 
Initially, I wanted to use Deep blue volume 3 for the Blendet Series project. But then I realized that Luigi Tozzi had already done it in his own way ! So I came up with the idea of making a tribute mix based on all his releases on different labels (Hypnus, Non Series, Outis Music, Mental Modern, etc.). 
Here's hoping Luigi likes it, what he'd probably have done much better! "

Our next guest needs no introduction. Legendary figure in the deep tchno scene, Svarog - Ukrainian DJ and musician who fills the dance floor with the spirit of mysticism and harmony.  His music dives you into a hypnotic atmosphere, sometimes with epc or dramatic accents. Landscape textures and saturated timbres in the tracks create a magical flow, forcing the listener to dive deep into dance or meditation. 

According to the mythology, Svarog - AKA the Slavic God - separated the world of the living from the dead, thus establishing order. The separation would have become the legendary Ukrainian Smorodina River, defended by a demon on the Kalinov Bridge.

His productions have find a home in labels like Circular Limited, Semantica records, Dynamic reflection, Affin, just to name a few. 

Over the years Svarog has been an inspirational figure in the scene that  we follow and love,  It is with great reverence and joy that we welcome him to our podcast series, where he graces us with an hour of profound depth and boundless beauty,  a testament to the eternal dance between light and shadow. Βorn, raised, and based in Patras, Greece, Alexskyspirit’s experience with the decks started in the early 00s in his hometown clubs and bars, blending his early influences of dark, progressive house with psychedelic trance. As he gradually honed his production skills and started shaping his musical identity, he shared the stage with some well-established names over those years, such as Edit Select, Keith Carnal, Charlotte De Witte, Dax J, Oxia, and Robert Dietz. His self-released and label-released material caught the attention of respected individuals from a broad techno spectrum, the likes of Amelie Lens, Joris Voorn, Abstract Division, Fabio Florido, Pan Pot, Deepbass, Ness, Claudio PRC, and Blazej Malinowski, who played his tracks on various occasions. Finally, this can also be a perfect example of how his sound shaped where he stands as a producer now.

his focus and sonic environments are weaved and led by his affiliation with the coldest season of the year, the echoes and the grey scenery during rainfall, the colourful and noisy urban landscape of the city traffic, and the impactful, awe-inspiring creations of architectural nature. His sound has a light, gentle approach combined with minimal elements of hypnotic ambience, distorted textures, and cinematic pads to conjure an aesthetically-pleasing yet deep atmosphere.

With a strong focus on crafting intricate and entrancing soundscapes, Astrüm Døctrina draws inspiration from a diverse range of sub-genres, such as deep techno, hypnotic techno, and psychedelic techno. Luigi Tozzi is an Italian DJ, live act and producer known for his atmospheric and immersive performances. 
He is an adroit manipulator of sounds, reflected in his productions that fall into the deeper, atmospheric areas of electronic music. They are impactful without applying force, evoking a cocoon-like sento in its listeners. 
Tozzi found his artistic home on labels like the Swedish Hypnus Records or Non-Series, where he regularly releases. 
Since his first release on Hypnus in 2014, he contributed numerous times to their catalogue and label showcases. 
His major project on the label is the "Deep Blue" album trilogy released in 2014, 2016, and 2021. 
It draws inspiration from a profound fascination with the oceanic world, a recurring theme in both Tozzi’s life and work. 
In 2023, an especially adapted ambient version of “Deep Blue” premiered in London. Tozzi's releases on Non-Series, like “Tender is the Night” (2019), “Almost Blue” (2021), and “Spiral” (2023), emphasize distinct sound elements and focus on techno with a minimalist aesthetic.

Furthermore, he contributed to a variety of labels like Mental Modern, OUTIS Music and Calipso.

Besides his work as a Live Act, DJ, and producer, Tozzi is involved in sound designs for art and film projects and is known for collaborations with other musicians and artists.
