"Sachiko is a DJ based in San Francisco but who finds inspiration from across the world - from dusty deserts to European basements to her own California backyard. Her sounds range from melodic and deep to dark and driving, consistently seeking to create immersive experiences through visceral basslines. My opening set from the sixth annual Winter is Coming party at Climb Base5 in North Van. An ideal venue to create the wintery cave-like vibe this party is known for.

We start off with a some beautiful instrumental foreplay, slowly & steadily building to grimey, hip swaying world bass, dubstep and even some (actually good) trap to really get the twerkshop going. As usual, I sped things up into some energetic bass house & tech house toward the end, to ramp up the energy for the epic night to come.

Hello amigos! We are back with a fresh new episode of our music podcast. We welcome a Reno/Tahoe local for out 6th edition. 

Please give it up for Kaden Koch!

Kaden Koch (aka Caduceus) is a musician born in Reno, Nevada and currently based out in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia.

In his younger years he attended small gatherings by his friends where his love for electronic music flourished. Spinning till dawn on what they call now “Dinotech” mixers, being powered off of an unlucky souls subwoofers (which were in plethora at that time). Connection and creativity were the core values of the company and of the music. 

His background in producing electronic music came mostly from the last decade of trance and ambient instrumentals. Infusing aspects of those genres while hybridizing with the
techno scene he was exposed to while living in Chicago is how he came upon his “sound”. Integrating the three together in a delicate and delicious manner is the essence of his compositions.

Later into his adulthood has helped host and coordinate local events such as “The Brickletown Getdown”(Truckee, CA) the “Deep Down” (Reno, NV), and Comos Industry Night (Truckee, CA) with the Bureau of Hindsight. 
While performing sound healings at local yoga studios is where he coined the title “Caduceus”. Healing the mind, body and spirit through vibration. 

From whether it’s playing music to friends, family, clubs, bars, studios, art cars, renegades, festivals, burning man etc. One goal is kept in mind and that’s to deliver the magic of the music.

T'was a pleasure as always to play the party of parties, Mesa Por Vida. This set was performed in the freshly dark and starry high-desert foothills of the Rocky Mountains amidst a bounty of fabulous performers and a flock of glimmering dance steps. Thank you Team Everything for another fantastic year!

This photo was taken at Mesa Por Vida 2018 by the great Beau Sniderman. With a little help from Photoshop, he turned the decks into a pulpit, turned the trees into a cathedral and turned the ravers into a congregation. A-Fucking-Men!

Feathericci at Mesa Por Vida 2023

A pleasure and an honor to join Moontribe for the October edition of FMG out in the desert. It was my first time playing (talk about nerves, lol) after attending and learning so much from the MT crew for years. Their 30-year history has had a huge influence on me - my sound, my musical path, the events I throw - in countless ways and I was grateful to join this lineup for a Halloween celebration. 

Enjoy my noon/midday set on Saturday - right between two of my breaks favorites and friends, Brandroid and Bartek. It's a mix of groovy 4/4 and breakbeats to get your day moving :)

Torie Live @ Moontribe Halloween FMG - October 2023

I had such an amazing time playing @ Burning Man 2023, in the village of Frothville, on the morning of the last day, after the most magical Burn Night of the wettest and happily extended Burning Man! What an honor to get down with all you frothin weirdos after first hearing me play someone else’s usb randomly at your camp the day before.  Thank you to everyone that got down with me- enjoy the set, I hope you feel right back at home. You’re beautiful.
