SOSOO is an acronym for "Sounds of Surviving, Overcomers Overcome". 
It sounds just like the word "Sozo", which means "saved, healed and delivered". So, the title means and sounds the same with a play on words being the acronym.

Words have power. The bible says there is something about a testimony or story combined with the saving, supernatural power of the gospel that impacts a life. Rev. 12:11 says " And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death."

This podcast is my step of simple obedience to the nudge of the Holy Spirit saying, "It's time to open your mouth". 

My story is His story, Christ in me the Hope of glory...

It's just me showing up, using my voice and the voices of others with stories to tell... to let others know they are not alone. If you're still here, you haven't given up so let's celebrate that!

Overcomers overcome is more than  a statement, it is an invitation. Come on over, have a seat at the table and partake in as much of God's goodness as you want.

Welcome to My Podcast

A spontaneous word came upon my heart this morning... so here it is. I pray it blesses someone today. Remember, you aren't alone and you are loved.

What does forgiveness have to do with freedom?
What if I feel too hurt to forgive?
Why can't I just let go?
What if I feel like I forgave but still feel hurt, did I really forgive?

Forgiveness can sometimes be a long process but it is ultimately a decision we make and the process looks different for everybody.

In this podcast I sit down with my oldest daughter (Ashley Vega) and listen as she shares a forgiveness story that was so palpable, I felt the heavens must be touched. My prayer is that this speaks something to a heart that really needs to hear it right now.
