24 year old Bristol based Dedman has just provided us with our deepest and darkest release on the label to date, showing us just how talented he is and giving a real insight into his inspirations. 

Today marks the worldwide release of the Blue note ep on all platforms and to celebrate Dedman has provided us with a 60 minute artist mix to show us that he is not only a badman on the buttons but also a very exciting and interesting dj.

Dedman tells us 'i'm coming out of lockdown trying to push as a more eclectic DJ. I dug really deep with this mix , from trap to jungle , and even some grime and drill. All of the sounds that im feeling at the moment and a few classics. All music that inspires me. '

Kane aka Alkali, is a 25 year old DJ & producer from Cardiff, Wales. He’s been producing just over 3 years and enjoys creating a number of genres ranging from Hip Hop to Breaks, but he predominately makes tracks on the more liquid/soulful side of drum & bass.

Initially getting into dnb through the Drum & Bass Arena Anthems album and being inspired by seeing Pendulum at his first live concert, he delved deeper into the sound and came across labels and pages such as Hospital, Fokuz & Liquiddnbftw which led to him falling in love with the liquid sound.

Alkali took up 121 tuition with Monty & Nectax over lockdown. This has helped his technical skills progress and helped him find his sound and recently earning him his first label release with Glitch Audio.

‘I Will Be Here’ encapsulates what Alkali loves about liquid, deep chords, ethereal vocals and rolling drums. With influences for the track ranging from Tokyo Prose to Burial.

As we step into spring and start to look forward to a hectic Summer schedule of festivals and raves its easy to forget the trials and tribulations of the last two years. A global pandemic that completely crushed our industry. It took away our freedom to dance, our right to rave and our ability to let loose. 
For our 54th release we are excited to welcome Norwich based Shayper and he has a very powerful message. 
The title track 'This ends now' was made in the midst of this crazy time in history and was Shayper's way of saying something im sure we've all felt like shouting out loud at some point?! THIS ENDS NOW!

The virus, the masks, social distance, no friends, no family, no music, no hope, no end?!

Thankfully now we are lucky enough to be looking forward to a big summer of music and good times, hope is restored. So this release is as much a celebration as it is a reminder of those dark times and never to take the good times for granted.

The flip side Funk you continues the celebration and shows us an even funkier side to Shaypers production while maintaining the absolute carnage that Shayper is best known for. 

We hope you enjoy these tracks and look forward to seeing them destroy dance floors across the globe this summer, just as Shayper intended when he made them.

They say that the night is always darkest before the dawn. And recent times have been a trying time for everyone, being socially isolated from friends and family, and unable to experience the rave culture we all know and love to the fullest extent.

Umax is back on Four Corners with an EP with a particular identity - written in isolation, a soul drenched compilation aimed straight at the dancefloors we all missed so badly. Each track featuring crunching drum breaks, deep subs and a nostalgic funk and soul influence. Almost a year in the making, we hope this EP provides positive vibes, and helps to feel true appreciation for the return of drum and bass club culture!

Coming up next on 4 Corners Music we’re proud to present 4CM007, a 4 track EP from the tech
corner of Drum & Bass. All tracks are expertly crafted by a newcomers to the label, Sublimit. This
release is a Beatport exclusive from 23rd September then available on general release from 7th
October 2018
Opening this EP is the title track, ‘Tunnel Vision’, with an intro that has your ears swimming in lush,
rich pads building into a menacing, swirling reece which weaves its way into the drop. Next up is
‘Sway’ which comes correct with haunting stabs and slick yet subtle switch ups, making a perfect
track to build into a tech oriented set. ‘In Your Head’ is the 3rd audio weapon in the package, this one
bangs in an off key way with percussion cheekily chopping & slicing through the bass. Finally Sublimit
rolls out the EP in style with the monster ‘Mass Control’, this EP is not to be missed.

4CM013 - foundations vol 1 - The foundations series is a new concept from Four corners bossman Melinki. The various artist series will be all about bringing brand new names to the label and giving them a chance to build the foundations for future solo projects. 
Searching out new talent and helping to guide and nurture that talent is something four corners takes pride in and we want to dedicate a series of eps to do just that. 
So here we have it , four fresh cuts from four brand new names. True to the four corners ethos there’s something for everyone in here ! 
Going straight in with Raybee’s navigate , a technical percussive rollout , aimed straight at the dance floor. An impressive debut from Raybee. 
Onto mood swings by system and wise. A track that does exactly what it says on the tin. Easing you into a false sense of security on the intro with a dreamy atmosphere and pads only to surprise you with a disgusting baseline when it drops. A great crossover track! 
Up next we have d’cypher with ride the wave,  a track full of funk and character that will go down great in a studio mix but also cause damage on the dance floor. This only being d’cyphers second ever release proves he is one to watch. 
Lastly but not by any means least we have some liquid gold from Avalon rays with his track brighten up. Not only did Avalon rays play and produce the track he also sang the vocal. Brighten up rounds off the release nicely and does just that. This one will go down perfectly with a cold beer in the summer sun.
