His sound is a blend of trance and techno with a 90’s flavour, he has his unique remarkable sounds, yet always manages to fascinate and surprise the audience due his energetic and dynamic style. Hard-hitting grooves combined with melodic sounds and crispy vocals – a perfect combination to grab your full attention. You can hear his signature sounds on various releases such as on Exhale, NineTimes Nine, Selected, Technowereld, VAGUE,… to name a few.

Stepan Mélla (aka Mélla) haves a vast experience in listening to electronic music, works in music shops and multimedia warehouse before became a DJ. Inspired by the musicians and DJs of 90's Detroit, he became a producer of experimental, minimalistic and synthetic-industrial heavy techno.

With a tremendous experience as a DJ, Stepan Mélla can play sets where tracks are 2 minutes long at 150+ bpm, something like Miami bass or Jersey club but with a stronger bias towards techno electro break, the ghettotech style. Voluminous synthetic industrial liquid techno or just interesting diverse music for a nice party in any place, there is a lot of things in his huge collection. 

His track «Model 500» played by Maelstrom (Maël Péneau) in RAAR label podcast. Labels as Mechatronica, Detroit Underground, Hilltown Disco also mentioned this track. The track has been streamed on Soundcloud over 60,000 times.

Born and raised in Ukraine near the Black Sea based in Paris, France.
