Ascension is my latest installment in the chillstep realm of music. There's something so haunting and eerie, yet beautiful, to this track. As if you know a tragic event is about to happen, yet you can't help but dream it will all go away.
The choice to use Cyberpunk: Edgerunners as a recurring theme in the visuals throughout the promotional phase and the videos stems from an innate love for the cyberworld, the dark, obscure realm of technology and A.I.

Swing Low Sweet Chariot is an American gospel song first recorded in 1909, but written in the late 1800s by a man named Wallace Willis. This song is special to me because my mother used to sing it to me when I was a little girl.

This reimagined cover is very different from the hymn and gospel roots, and I hope that it is a nice, pleasing chillout version for you all <3.
