On Melli Monaco’s debut single “War”, the artist reflects on the trials and tribulations she has experienced since being in the States. The song exudes strength and determination, which Melli Monaco has relied on all her life.

Born and raised in Neuilly-sur-Marne, an urban suburb of Paris, France, Melli Monaco had a troubled upbringing. She was able to find some peace in the sounds of Booba, NTM & Saian Supa Crew, who served as her early musical influences. After moving to the States, she settled in Atlanta, GA, where she was in and around the music scene honing her skills as an artist. 

In 2019, she moved to Los Angeles, CA, where she began working on her first project and shortly after that dropped the track “War” and followed that up with a diverse collection of singles that draw from all of her influences. There is the international pop-influenced track “Fais Moi”, the sultry pillow talk tinged “What’s It Gon’ Be?”, and the dancehall influenced “Come Close” where Melli Monaco beacons a suitor to make his presence known.

A rising star in the industry, Melli Monaco is just getting started, and with the aforementioned Strength and Determination driving her, the next destination is the very top.
