"Instead of doing yet another promo mix that incorporates a song or two from our new album, I thought it would be fun for me & Phill to each do a 30 minute mix of Hip Hop from our respective areas. I'm from Southampton, and since that's not a very big place I thought it would be more fitting to play some of my favourite old UK Hip Hop records. Philadelphia always had a healthy Hip Hop scene that boasted famous artists such as DJ Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince, Cash Money & Marvelous and Steady B just to name a few. Phill wanted to showcase some of the more obscure/random Rap records from Philly that he loves."

Mello Music has a new group called "Semi Hendrix" and they've decided to let a loose single out into the wild today called #4081.  The song debuted this morning on Shade 45's Sway In The Morning on XM Radio.   Anyone familiar with the classic Tribe joint "Check the Rhime" (4080) gets the reference, and this is a worthy progeny.

This is the First song we recorded as the Gravediggaz in 92" . It was the intro to our demo and it was actually recorded the day I introduced these guys to each other at my house . This track never made the album but It was one of my favorite productions. This was the track that started it all ..  RIP Poetic . Enjoy

This is a Song I did for Kane in 1989 which is the title track of his album " Its a Big Daddy Thing " . At this point in my career this was a big highlight to work with Kane and there was definitely a mutual respect for each others talents . This was our first time working together and I have to say Kane is truly genius a funny guy and a pleasure to work with . Listening back to this song I really wish I could have made the production better . Keep in mind this was just a rough mix , the better mixed version is on the album . Please share this . This is a project that I was asked to do I guess sometime in the early 2000's . It was a remix for a Bob James project . the idea was to take an existing piece of work and flip it . So this was my flip . I had Pete Miser come in and do some vocal snippets . I never knew what happened to the project but I did put a lot of work into this mix so I figured I would share it . This was a song was recorded in My studio in the early 2000's .Doom I had know for quite some time and at this point I had recorded Barman " It very stimulating ' EP . Barman wanted to collaborate with Doom on a song which was a great idea . All I remember in recording this was being amazed how these two guys styles complimented each other. Too bad we didnt record more songs that day.  We never had a formal release of this demo song but did appear on Doom's Leftovers . Please share Prince Paul's Unreleased series ( Its free )
