Pugs Atomz & Inkswel return with another banger.  "Origami Dollars" was a vinyl/cassette only cut on their recent "The Moon" album, featuring Georgia Anne Muldrow and Blu (of Blu & Exile) released by Jazzanova's Sonar Kollektiv label.  

Now "Origami Dollars" sees a new digital release with two further remixes. Inkswel himself provides a remix with an additional verse from legendary Adelaide based rapper Social Change that we are happy to premiere today.

“Rising” by Summer-Pearl and produced by Alma De La Selva & Paya, is the fifth single from The Silhouettes Project. 
 
The Silhouettes Project is a new platform for up-and-coming Hip-Hop, Soul and Jazz artists from the UK. It is not a record label or management team, it is a community project. The Silhouettes Project provides an open space - a recording studio and live venue located within the Total Refreshment Centre in Hackney, London - where MCs, singers, musicians and producers can connect and create.

The Silhouettes Project was founded by community organisers/artists Asher Korner (aka Kosher) and Jaden Osei-Bonsu (Eerf Evil) in 2019. When they told us about the project and played us some of the music we were instantly hooked and joined the collective as label partner. The art direction is executed by Sergio “SagaUno” Alférez, an acclaimed designer and illustrator from Medellín, Colombia.

Starting in September, we release a new single each Thursday from artists like 
Kofi Stone, Summers Sons, Enny, KeepVibesNear, Manik MC, Lex Amor, Louis The Hippie, Summer-Pearl, Joe Beard and many more.

All 15 singles will also be available on one LP towards the end of the year.

Visionary emcee E L U C I D buys back Benjamin Banneker’s Almanac at the opening of this apocalyptic freedom song produced by The Lasso who was inspired by Herbie Hancock’s Rain Dance. The futuristic shamanic channeling of energy on the track breaks the boundaries that separate generations and revels in a timeless state. 

E L U C I D lyrically dances through snapshots of ancestral battles occurring in the here and now of his existence. The world created is at once immediate and Earthly taking on the blood crimes committed in our past while facing broken illusions with a hammer at the ready. This is Small Bills Banneker’s Almanac.
