Der Beginn des September steht ganz im Zeichen der Entschleunigung. Eine neue Zeit beginnt, eine neue Reise erwartet uns. @ener-music hat das Ruder mit beiden Händen in die Hand genommen und manövriert das Schiff in bisher noch unbekannte Sphären des musikalischen Raumes.

Wir freuen uns sehr über diesen emotionalen Beitrag zu unser kleinen Serie und begrüßen mit @ener-music einen Rostocker Jungen, der zusammen mit der Faultierdisko Crew und seiner Podcast Serie "deep&smooth" zu einem Downbeat-Leuchtturm im Norden gewachsen ist.

Wir sind Éner schon seit einiger Zeit verfallen und haben seinen unverwechselbaren Sinn für entschleunigte Platten sehr sehr schätzen gelernt. Darüber hinaus liegt sein Fokus nicht auf irgendwelchen Hypes oder Trends, sondern vielmehr auf der Liebe zur Musik und Idee und Leidenschaft hinter dem Ganzen. Allein deshalb ist er etwas ganz besonderes und der MeeronautenCast eine absolute Perle.

Uns kam zu Ohren, Wien sei das „neue Leipzig“? Dieser waghalsigen These gilt es auf die Spur zu gehen – hören wir also mal ganz genau in Igelkarussell-Runde #89 mit MataHari und Volker Arnold hinein!
Die beiden Wiener sind Teil der Crews Journey to Tarab & Immer mit der Ruhe. Auf dem diesjährigen Tarmac Festival haben sie zusammen mit Düsentrieb ein legendäres Set zelebriert. Wer es noch nicht kennt - Reinhören lohnt sich.

Kurzweiliger als in ihrem 3-stündigen Mix für uns ließe sich eine Reise wohl kaum gestalten: Direkt zurück in den Sommer katapultiert, werden eure Sinne hier durch eine sorgsam abgestimmte, wohltemperierte und aufeinander aufbauende Track-Auswahl geführt. Vocals und Harmoniewechsel immer genau an der richtigen Stelle, schenken die Jungs uns einen wahrlich groovigen Einstieg in die Adventszeit.

Gerade noch rechtzeitig, um dem wiederkehrenden Wahnsinn um uns herum mit Positivität und Ausgelassenheit zu trotzen! Danke euch beiden für die wohlverdiente Auszeit 🙌

"Under a highway bridge in Ulm I discovered something magical in 2020, if I play tracks I love in a right way, listen to you, watch the glow around your eyes… we can create something. I’ve loved music for as long as I can remember but it was only at my first rave that I realized what we can do if i work hard at my new exciting craft. After a little while Berlin has become my new home. Within it’s walls soon darker, powerful downtempo called me into it. Now, I dig and find them, the groovy melodies, fatter basslines, enchanting rhythms and flowing beats, for you, for us…. To move to create, to bask in our own and the glitter of that midnight sunshine."

Der liebe Valentin beschenkt unsere Live-Special Reihe mit einem Doppelpack. Es handelt sich um die Aufnahme vom diesjährigen Klangpavillion Rügen, die sich keiner entgehen lassen sollte. Es lohnt sich. Let's go mit Part 1. 

Anbei noch seine Stellungnahme zu unseren Fragen, in der er die ein oder andere Anekdote preisgibt...

✘ Was sind deine musikalischen Einflüsse? Was ist dein
musikalischer Hintergrund?

Ich bin auf dem Land in Süddeutschland in einer musikalischen Familie groß geworden und wie das so ist auf dem Dorf, haben wir natürlich auch illegale Raves veranstaltet. Und dadurch kam ich auch zum Auflegen. In meiner Zeit bei 3000Grad wurde das Ganze dann natürlich vertieft.


✘ Was macht deiner Meinung nach eine gute Afterhour aus?

Eine gute Afterhour ist es für mich dann, wenn ich das Gefühl habe mich safe zu fühlen und ein WIR-Gefühl entsteht oder entstanden ist. Generell finde ich es wichtig dass die Menschen auf Partys aufeinander Acht geben und integrativ agieren und natürlich verspielt! Dann muss der Sound natürlich stimmen, gerne verspielt verspult und dark treibend...und von mir aus nicht über 118bpm <3

✘ Wie hast du den Gig empfunden?

Ich hatte das Glück in diesem Sommer auf der Insel Rügen beim Klangpavillion am Strand spielen zu dürfen. Es war ein traumhaftes Wochenende mit lieben Freund*innen und unseren Camperbussen. Mit Blick auf das Meer, mega leckeren Drinks und Snacks habe ich am ende knapp 7h gespielt. Die ersten 4 Stunden möchte ich gerne mit euch in zwei Parts teilen. Ein bisschen Sommer für die Ohren, während es in den Clubs gerade für mich etwas schneller, darker und treibender vorangeht.

Über die Erde sollst du barfuß gehen. Zieh die Schuhe aus, Schuhe machen dich blind. Du kannst doch den Weg mit deinen Zehen sehen, das Wasser, den Wind.
Sollst mit deinen Sohlen die Steine berühren, mit ganz nackter Haut. Dann wirst du bald spüren, dass dir die Erde vertraut.
Spür das nasse Gras unter deinen Füßen und den trockenen Staub. Lass dir vom Moos die Sohlen streicheln und küssen und fühl das Knistern im Laub.
Steig hinein, steig hinein in den Bach und lauf aufwärts dem Wasser entgegen. Halt dein Gesicht unter den Wasserfall. Und dann sollst du dich in die Sonne legen.
Leg deine Wange an die Erde, riech ihren Duft und spür, wie aufsteigt aus ihr eine ganz große Ruh. Und dann ist die Erde ganz nah bei dir, und du weißt: 
Du bist ein Teil von Allem und gehörst dazu.

When the first rays of the morning sun pierce through the fog, when dancers follow the beat of their own glowing heart as much as the music, when distance and past and future are but memories melting into an inner landscape, we listen to music differently.

It is these magic hours that come to mind, while submerging into Leni’s journey into the deep. It was my first time DJing so far away from Germany and I had such a good time. Apart from that, after a week in this amazing city with so many great people and overwhelming impressions - I am more than grateful.

Never say no to something that pushes you forward.
Sometimes it seems hard, sometimes it seems absurd.
But since when has a dent been a bump? Or does the bump become a dent?
A matter of opinion.
Nothing is smooth, especially not life. It's all about the edges that makes it round - that’s a fact for sure. 
There is a little bit of everything in Leipzig's @ost_end, but mainly there is a lot of enthusiasm, even more passion and infinite love.
Love, which is always expressed in music.
