After a long night full of glitter and sparkles, the best part is yet to come. We swing on our bikes, ride our way through the morning sun, still drunk with happiness and colorful pictures glowing in our heads. Once we arrive at the lake, we let ourselves sink into the cool sand, overwhelmed and exhausted, taking a deep breath of the fresh breeze. What a crazy journey this was, full of smiling faces and epic moments. 

Everything and everyone is ready, this morning is made to stay forever as a memory in our mind. Speakers on and off we go. Although we can hardly walk anymore, the sound carries us away so much that we are willing to even get the last drop of energy out of us. Damn, how good it feels to be finally free again.

Our next podcast by @lenilow  lets us think of all the good old days and makes us dream of even better new ones yet to come. Soon it will be over, we can hardly wait for it. If you feel the same way, let yourself fall into the music and enjoy the flow of life with us.

Seit nun über 6 Jahren drückt sie der Kassler Szene bereits ihren Stempel auf - ob durch selbst veranstaltete Partys, Festivals oder beim Auflegen - das Motto lautet stets Kokolores im Kopf!
Doch plötzlich - 2020 - das Leben wurde langsamer, weg vom Tempo jenseits der 120bpm . Aus Treiben wurde Bummeln, sonst von ihr bekannte Afro- und Techhouse Beats wurden leiser - Die Welt des Downtempos eröffnete sich Kiki. Jedoch tauscht sie den Stil nicht einfach aus, sondern fusioniert alte mit neugewonnener Leidenschaft und sorgt so für rhythmisch-percussive, basslastige Bummelmusik. Man darf gespannt sein, wenn sich der Wahnsinn draußen wieder legt und wir Teil ihrer Musik sein dürfen.
Zusammen mit zwei Freunden gründete sie im gleichen Jahr das Kollektiv Dreiradfahrt, mit denen sie die langsame Welt der elektronischen Musik auf die Straßen trägt.

Eines Tages begab sich Gia auf die Reise von New York City nach Berlin. Am Neujahr 2016 lernte sie auf Schloss Bröllin im überschaubaren Meck-Pomm einen Haufen lieber Menschen kennen. Unter anderem traf sie auch auf ihre zukünftige Mitbewohnerin und DJ Partnerin aus Wien/München, die schillernde Marie. Freundschaftlich hat es zwischen den Beiden sofort gefunkt, dennoch hat es nun fast 2,5 Jahre gedauert bis sie auch musikalisch zusammenfanden. Seit August 2019 sind Sie GIAMARIE aus Berlin. MARIE spielt schon seit 4 Jahren Techhouse und Downtempo unter dem Namen “Apolonia” bei dem Kollektiv “Kopfüber”. GIA widmet sich schon immer dem Hip-Hop unter dem Namen “Hairy Diva”. Zusammen ergibt sich ein “sexy-bouncy-techno-swag-house” Mix aka Diva Techno, diesen Begriff prägte ihre Freundin Melissa (https://www.instagram.com/melissa.selbst) nach einem Auftritt im Januar 2020.

INTERVIEW:
1. Wie lange legt Ihr nun schon auf und was hat Euch dazu bewegt, anzufangen?
GIAMARIE: Unser Schlüpftag war ein sonniger Samstag Mittag beim Bucht der Träumer Festival 2019 / Ein lieber Mensch aus unserem alten Kollektiv “Kopfüber” hat vorgeschlagen, dass wir doch mal zusammen auflegen sollten und uns prompt ins Oberstübchen als b2b gebucht. Damit hat alles begonnen! 

1.2. Hattest Ihr Support dabei, oder wie habt ihr das Auflegen gelernt? 
G: Unsere ersten Gigs wurden uns ermöglicht von den Kollektiven @kopfueber und @knueppelmusik, dafür sind wir sehr dankbar. Das Technische Know How haben uns vereinzelt Freund:innen nach und nach beigebracht. Wir lernen voneinander <3 

2. Was ist euer schönstes gemeinsames Erlebnis beim Auflegen gewesen?
G: Puh..das fällt uns gar nicht so leicht zu beantworten, da wir beide der Meinung sind, dass jeder Gig zusammen, etwas besonderes und einzigartiges ist. Wenn wir uns wirklich festlegen müssten, wäre das  aber tatsächlich unser Schlüpftag an diesem wunderbaren sonnigen Tag beim Helenesee. Samstag mittags um 12, wir dachten alle pennen oder ruhen sich aus. Das Oberstübchen war der einzige Floor der offen hatte, alle anderen, Mittagspause. Doch das hat uns nicht aufgehalten unseren besonderen Moment ,gemeinsam zu feiern, abzureißen und unsere Musik die wir lieben in die Welt hinaus zu ballen! Unsere Anfängliche Angst war unbegründet, die Leute hatten Bock, das sah man in ihren strahlenden Gesichtern und unsere “all Bangers no Fillers” Attitude kam an. Am Ende unseres Sets fühlten wir eine tiefe Verbindung mit dem Publikum, die wir bei unseren Gigs zuvor nie gespürt haben. Wir hatten endlich das Gefühl, dass unsere “Diva-Techno” Musik, wie wir sie liebevoll nennen jenseits unserer Lautsprecher zu Hause begrüßt und gefeiert wurde. Etwas lag an diesem Tag in der Luft und ein neues Kapitel wurde aufgeschlagen.

3. Was wünschst Ihr Euch, sollte in Zukunft in der Clubszene .anders laufen?
G: Weniger toxische Maskulinität in der Szene, dafür mehr diversität. Des öfteren, mussten wir die Erfahrung machen auf Partys gebucht zu werden, bei denen das Lineup männlich dominiert war. Wir würden uns wünschen, dass wir in Zukunft Booker:innen nicht mehr darauf hinweisen müssen, dass es neben männlichen Kollegen auch wunderbare FLINTA* Künstler:innen gibt, um ein diverses Lineup zu ermöglichen.

Die neue Dreiradfahrt ist eingetrudelt und wurde von @bretfast direkt nach Kassel geradelt! Eine wunderschöne Darstellung seines vorzüglichen Musikgeschmacks mit bestechender Songauswahl die einfach nur Laune macht! Wunderschöner ist nur noch, dass wir diesen tollen Menschen plus Freunde selbst kennenlernen und gemeinsam auf dem Lichtalben Festival dieses Jahr rumturnen konnten! Was für ein Spaß :)

Manchmal tragen Mixtapes die uns erreichen, bereits einen Namen. Dieses hier hiess „ginger & peppermint“.
Zwei Zutaten, die auf den ersten Blick zu einem gemütlichen Tee-Kränzchen passen.
Aber ich erinnere mich, dass ich auch mal an einem ziemlich scharfen und belebenden Kaugummi mit genau diesen zwei Zutaten knabberte.
Und genau das hat uns Knabber Hans hier mit an die Party gebracht!
Grosse, knallig leuchtende, kugelrunde Kaugummis, eingewickelt in fetten Bässen, gefüllt mit saftigen Percussions-Sets.
So dass uns das Wasser nur so in den Ohren zusammen läuft!
Und jetzt schön brav schmatzend einfach im Takt weiter kauen…

Waal is a Producer/DJ that scoured the Moroccan and International dance floors before being naturally behind the Decks. It is above all the energy released by the music in club that pushed him to become more and more interested. He wants to share his passion for electronic music. First started practicing in small bars before quickly making a place in the Underground night. He made his first step in the composition to finally release his First EP and signed with one of the best labels in Mannheim : Nachtwandler Records. This young artist with a great musical culture and a universe of his own will make the speakers and the bodies vibrate to the rhythms of his sets.
