A dream came true - Even if we where asked to play an easy Downtempo Set, which is a little different from how we like to play now at Gigs, we felt so happy and blessed to be invited by the lovely booking Crew of Dubstation Stage of the legendary and unique Fusion Festival in Lärz, Germany. What an honor to play there - hard to describe the feeling we had, when our phone rang with the invitation, the feeling to be back at this Festival after 4 years but this time as Artists and the feeling we had when we started our Set at this amazing created Dubstation. 

We didn't knew where the journey was leading us but with all the love of these strong Folks that stayed awake to dance and seesaw with us, this is what came out. Long story short, listen yourself. Here is the result of our 3 hour trip at 3am on Fusion Thursday.

Bei dieser Spezialausgabe des KataHaifisch Podcasts handelt es sich um ein Live Set von einer "46 Katzen Tanzen Auf‘m Tisch"  🐈‍⬛ aus dem Kater Blau. Schöpfer dieses musikalischen Meisterwerks ist das Künstlerduo thea & schtu. Seit 2020 musizieren und produzieren die beiden gemeinsam Musik unter dem Credo „slow & with love“. So entstanden phänomenale Songs & Releases auf beispielsweise down., Akasha MX oder auch Beyond. thea & schtu - Live Set @ 46 Katzen Tanzen Auf'm Tisch, Kater Blau

Es war kurz nach 10.
Die MainStage hatte gerade ihre letzten Töne von sich gegeben als sich eine kleine Menge an Leuten vor uns in der Jurte versammelte. Wir spielten schon seit etwas mehr als einer Stunde. 
Viertel nach 10 und wir stellen mit Erstaunen fest, dass niemand in dieser Jurte am reden war.
Die Augen waren geschlossen.
Barfüßig schwebten die Menschen über die Teppiche.
Kuschelnd lagen oder saßen sie im Raum verteilt.
Es war eine perfekte Landung.

Diese Nacht wird uns beiden noch sehr lange in schönster Erinnerung bleiben. 

Wir freuen uns die gefühlvollen Klänge der Entschleunigung, aus der Sonntagnacht, mit euch zu teilen und träumen uns und euch in die Jurte zurück.

I am very glad to share with you the recording of my set last Sunday at Beate Barfuß. 

This set is brings you to the twists and turns of slower music, navigating between 108 and 122 bpm, with some of my favourite releases of the past months but also some older school timeless classics. 
 
No banger on the carpets, only softer and comfortable music.

This place, and particularly their Sunday events have been a big inspiration for me since I moved to Berlin almost 10 years ago, and an important place for the slower scene in Berlin.  
A unique place and crowd of true music lovers.

At the age of 14 the Doubljuh started to experiment with his first DJ setup until mixing music with vinyl became his second nature. His first attempts were characterized by Chicago House (Bad Boy Bill, Richard Humpty vission), Ghetto House/Booty House (Dj Funk, Dj Deeon) and especially Funky Disco House (Boogie Pimps, Armand van Helden, Bob Sinclar, Olav Basoski). Early on a varied House style with groovy melodies and catchy vocals arose. He impressed his audience first as a newcomer of the Tectrex Crew and performed as Resident DJ in the show „Rookie Freaks“ via the Tectrex Webstream. His opinion about electronic music fundamentally changed in summer 2013 after his visits to legendary festivals such as Fusion and Kazantip, which included a short performance. He got to know and love melodic Deep House, which strongly shaped his music style since that time. Now the familiar groovy House beats take turns with soft parts and enchant the audience with frisky melodies of the violin and the piano. This results in fresh sounds, which are still highly characterized by catchy vocals.In 2015, he founded the DJ collective “deep stories” together with Kork, which is very successful with its podcast series on Soundcloud thanks to its innovative concept. He is currently on tour in Hamburg and Berlin with the deep stories showcase.

We all know this moment - you are lying in bed with a loved one and the world stands still.

You put on some music to set the scene for rising temperatures under the sheets…

The set you put on suddenly brings you out of rhythm, but getting up to skip the track is no longer an option.

We have been scouting for the perfect Sunday morning sets for quite a while already and while "Eigentlich heissen wir Klaus" & "Mattmosphere" have been steady suppliers of them for us, we also developed the idea of asking befriended artists to record one hour of music, to which they like to stay in bed with a loved one.

It's an intimate ask, but most of them said yes.

For Cuddle Cast #29 we asked the two good friends @haensenundgretel to record one hour of cuddly music for you all.

The outcome could be a wolf’s lullaby, soft, dreamy, and wrapped in calm.

So grab your special person, get cosy, press play and be ready to let the love birds fly

The opening speech is by Mary Schmich and often falsly attributed to Kurt Vonnegurt. 

Mary wrote it as if she would be asked to give the MIT Graduation speech, but she was unfortunately never asked to hold it.  

This makes it none the less beautiful and powerful though.
