For me this song is about putting to rest the old chapter of my life that I've been sticking and taking the leap of faith into the new chapter of my life and building the kind of future that I want. Its over coming fears and anxieties and leaving all the hurt and worry in the past. Its the end so that I can start over again at the beginning. Its a new story with a new author.

As this Summer draws to a close this song is about all the changes ive made as an artist and a person recently. This has been one of the hardest, but most eye opening times in my life.
