That's how Danny and Pash aka. Mellow Monks explain their motivation for making music.

A pretty decent effort: these two guys, based in Munich, have had a remarkable rise as DJs in the last
few years.

Daniel "Danny" Ogl got his first introduction to music through his father who was a big fan of trance
music.

Pawis "Pash" Rahiq also developed an early crush on music, falling in love with middle 80s / early 90s
electronic disco music vinyl collection of his parents.
Danny & Pash aka. Mellow Monks crossed paths in 2005 after being part of the early techno movement
in the nineties, where they had their first experiences in DJing as Danny & Pash, producing and
organizing Techno parties from 2010 to now.
The musical chemistry clicked into place and they became fast friends and in 2013, they renamed their
Goa project to Mellow Monks.

Their style is characterized by powerful and energetic psytrance, with a touch of progressive elements,
forceful - but always with a mass of groove.
They wafts the audience from beginning to the end on a wave of euphoria and let them float formally.
Mellow Monks are head of the Psychedelic Happiness Festival – the only GOA Festival in Munich - and
also played in all big and important GOA / Psytrance parties in Munich.

They are part of the Leela Family on the magical island KohPhangan (TH), their second home, and also
welcome guests at the Fullmoon- and other parties on the Island. In 2015 they had their debut in Malaysia at the Belantara Festival in Kuala Lumpur and also in Bangkok at the Moon Mountain Valentrance - a floating boat party at the Kanchanaburi lake. Since then they have been heard regularly at various festivals in Asia like The Experience Festival on Koh Tao, Ban Sabaii on Koh Phangan, The Lost Paradise Festival in Bangkok or Magic Mountain Festival in Chiang Mai.

In 2014 Mellow Monks' debut track "The Warrior" was released on Yellow Sunshine Explosion Records’
well known compilation "Goa Vol. 51" on Y.S.E. Records.
