Melma_Mire is Joe Rehmer's solo project where he uses field recordings and samples recorded on, and manipulates through 1/8" magnetic tape via cassette tape loops. Performed with a 4 track tape recorder and various Walkmans, they are layered
with live electric bass to create hypnotic drone
music, strange atmospheric moods and complex,
mysterious soundscapes
