We never konsidered how fast 25 would kreep up on us right? As we near wrapping up 40daysofKAN the issues at hand in this society koncerning the lives of Blakk people, being of Supreme importance, will reflect in the musik. Death Around the Korner or DATK, represents the konstant angst felt by the majority of Blakk people whenever they are in the midst of an interaction with police officers.  While mainstream white amerikkka, who kontinues to assert this notion of a post racial society, are asleep at the wheel, Blakk people kontinue to lose their lives and dignity in the name of fighting krime. While i do not blame todays "progressive whites" for the hostile systems kreated by their forefather's, I charge them with hypocrisy for their indifference. They are the ones making up a plethora of excuses on what would've have kept an unarmed blakk man alive during an enkounter with police instead of ostracizing and holding accountable  untrained and racially charged police officers for the death of citizens. Media made blakk people monsters. Racist policies made blakk people monsters, not krime. The stats are very klear that blakk people are no more apt to krime than are their white counterparts, yet this is not the image plastered on the news every night. We should not feel like a under caste in a kountry that purports "Freedom for All". Yet, every time we are faced with an enkounter with police, we feel like it might be our last.
