My closing set at the Cedar Lounge late Sunday night/Monday morning at Shambhala Music Festival in Salmo, BC. Re-recorded from my serato history at home away from the dust; a few mistakes here and there but that's part of the fun. Big thanks to the Grove stage for having me out and everyone that made it to my set at 3am on Sunday night when there was so much other amazing stuff going on. Felt real nice to get to bring the chillest stage at Shambhala from deep dancefloor energy down to straight up ambient just in time for Monday morning. I want to give a special thanks to Shambhala Music Festival,
the staff, volunteers, and everyone who made this year so special,
and who have made this magical place such a beautiful sanctuary to return to every year.

So much thanks and love to The Village Stage staff, and the PK crew!
The hospitality, friendship  for the people, and love and care put into this stage are mindblowing.
The sound is one of the best stages I have played on, and had the most powerful bass I have ever felt.
So much love for what everyone has done in building this epic place!

FutureVibes Full Moon - March 31 2018

This set was the final closing set on Monday morning at Bass Coast 2018 on Slay Bay Stage. It was recorded live off the video board and you can feel the spontaneous imperfection.  Morning sets are all about living in the moment, sharing the first rays of sunlight as they warm up the ground, and feeling a connection with everyone else there. The closing hours of the festival are gentle, quirky, and full of beauty. This mix is a lush and warm collection of my favourite sounds from various artists.  I hope you enjoy.  PS the recording was clipping so it's a little rough around the edges...but thought I'd share anyway.

Shapes. Guest Mix 002 // PRSN

I feel like I speak for a lot of us when I say this past year has been challenging and full of a lot of heavy changes. As the days start to get longer I feel like the light is finally starting to come back. This mix is essentially a musical representation of a lot of emotions I’ve been feeling over the past few months. I decided to not focus on technical mixing so much with this per se but was more aiming to showcase a collection of songs new and old from over the years that have helped me process and move forward. A life-altering traumatic brain injury in 2018 shaped his artistic trajectory, leading him to embrace a shift in perspective and boundaries for self-care. Music is a conduit for emotional release, empowering listeners to work through inner tensions to find a cathartic release. 

As a classically trained pianist driven by a passion for sonic exploration, Melo.Nade brings a unique perspective to his music productions that blend cultural sounds with trip hop, dubstep, and bass music.
