London based Meloders' musical roots lie very much in the deeper side of House and Disco and are encapsulated in this EP. It's all about his deeper, darker, moody musical side but still remains warm and uplifting. 7 tracks full of squelchy bass lines, melancholy vocals, punchy percussion and classic chords all come together to give us the 'Affection EP'.

Meloder (or Rich to his friends) is a terrible pianist (and organist), but he is quite handy with a computer so thankfully he can correct the many mistakes he makes when laying down bass lines and melodies; something he spends as much time as he can doing.

Music is a true passion that has grown in him over many years, and he is an avid listener of all sorts of electronic music (and indeed many other genres). However, most of his current productions fall under the banner of house; and range from deep to disco to progressive. 

You can also catch Rich playing records regularly in London (and occasionally beyond) for OptionOne, a night he co-founded to give he and his friends somewhere to enjoy the music they love - you are welcome to join them anytime.
