i've not really been producing music the last 3 years or so. i was mostly stuck on "there's so much new music around, what's the point" and the "dance music became so backward looking idk how to make anything that sounds new".

then a few weeks ago i was sick, stuck at home for two weeks, and went on a producing binge. 🕳 and somehow i suddenly finished a bunch of tracks that - for the first time ever - i think are actually good. i was too sick to care or idk but this time i really just wanted to make something that's fun to play out and not give a shit about sampling or anything really and that somehow worked.

well here's the first of those, and i'll release some more tracks over the coming months.

To The RAVE

After having a fantastic 2014, ANNA is back for her first single release on Tronic of 2015. 'Abre Los Ojos' is a jacking housy techno track that includes a juicy analog melody/bassline with plenty of lfo and filter action. As usual for her tracks, crowd reactions are guaranteed! Furthermore, Tronics head honcho Christian Smith delivers a strong remix focusing on the groove and an anthemic break that is reminiscent of Kevin Saundersons earlier E-Damcer releases. We hope you like both versions and play them out loud!

Layton Giordani is up next with his trademarked shadowy sound and impeccable arrangement, offering yet another angle of attack. Last but not least are Loco &amp; Jam dubbing things out with bursts of references to the original in key moments, while maintaining a rocksteady vibe sprinkled with discordant stabs.</p>

Sasha Carassi - Echoes (Layton Giordani Remix)

For the next Suara's release Vangelis Kostoxenakis delivers 'Supremacy EP', probably one of his best works ever. A collection of delicate but powerful beats and lots of harmonic layers combined with strong beats, definitely big room electronic underground music. On remix duties Enrico Sangiuliano with his modern techno point of view and Miguel Bastida with a smart and raw revision of 'Supremacy'. The package is completed with two more additional tracks. If you are an electronic music lover, here you will find some reasons to keep loving it.

Julian Jeweil returns with a generous five-track EP continuing his stellar 2017. 

Following on from his ‘Rolling’ EP that dropped in January and featured the outstanding ‘Blue’, an early contender for one of the strongest tracks of the year, Julian Jeweil drops the crisp intergalactic techno trip ‘Space’

The EP begins in stunning fashion with title track ‘Space’, driven by stirring vocal effects that build up tremendously, later giving way to a punchy acid-laced climax. ‘South’ follows, a low-end tour de force. ‘Answer’ is already familiar to fans after it featured on DCR368 Live from Loveland and the track is a rousing peak-time weapon propelled by subterranean stabs. ‘Encke’ is deliciously mind-bending, led by heavy bass and distorted effects, before ‘Module’ follows providing a groovier, but no less powerful contrast.
