BRP 263 - DANNY LLOYD

Born and raised in a small town in Tuscany, Danny was surrounded by music since his early childhood. With his very natural and eclectic approach to music, his passion began to develop in several directions until he finally came across the world of electronic music and it was love at first sight. 

Since then, he has explored all those styles that range between Ambient and Techno, and finally produced his first vinyl in 1995 when going by
the name “The Dream Project”.

In the context of electronic music production some of his greatest achievements are his participation in the creation of Francesco Farfa's album "Human Bridge" with Seaside Highways and the production of "Big Bang" with Andrea Cassino going by the pseudonym of “Nocturna”, which appeared on the Sudbeat Music label with the remixes of Hernan
Cattaneo & Soundexile and Graziano Raffa. Receiving artistic support from all over the world, he especially traveled through Italy, Argentina, Holland and Spain. Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Eric Prydz, Robert Babicz, Guy J, Francesco Farfa, Guy Mantzur, Graziano Raffa, Lonya, Dousk, Paco Osuna, Chicola, are just some of the artists  who gave their support to Danny Lloyd’s career.

At present, we can enjoy his sound with his monthly radio show ELEMENTS, greatly appreciated by his fans and definitely worth a listen.

Biografia: Nació en San Salvador de Jujuy. Comenzó con su amor por la música electrónica a muy temprana edad ya que desde que tiene 12 años le apasiona. 
Empezó su carrera de dj en el año 2018 con la que recibió el título de dj en la academia groove en cordoba y producción y composición musical en academia Orbital. Sus sets combina melodías sublimes de  techno melodico  y un progressive house con vocales emocionantes tratando de transmitir un mensaje de amor y energía. Uno de sus sets  fue seleccionado para el concurso internacional para tocar en “La Estación Córdoba “ con el que llegó a la semifinal. 
Hoy a sus 21 años. Firmó con sellos discográficos de gran prestigio como FREEGRANT MUSIC (Ucrania) , MANUAL (Holanda), MIR MUSIC (España), BEAT BOUTIQUE (Tel Aviv) , DROID9 (Estados unidos), KRAFTED (Inglaterra).
Presentándose en diferentes provincias de Argentina y en prestigiosos clubes cómo ser Basement (Cba), Rarest (Sla), Fruta (Cba) entre otros.
Compartió cabina con djs como Kevin Di Serna, Matt Sassari, Nicolas Taboada, Kebin Van Reeken, Evegrem y muchos mas. 

Tiene el support de grandes referentes en sus tracks como: Paul Thomas, Nick Muir, Emi Galvan, Nicolas Rada, Mariano Mellino, Paul Sawyer, Zac y muchos mas.

Due to this quarantine time when the world is locked inside the house, I decided to make a special mix only with songs from the time when I had my first contact with Progressive House (2003 to 2007).

Although the resources are scarcer than nowadays and even the technology for mastering the tracks, they are timeless songs that can be played at any time.

An opportunity to remember what Progressive was like at that time or if you didn't know it, a chance to find out.

Devido a esse tempo de quarentena em que o mundo está trancado dentro de casa resolvi fazer um set especial somente com músicas da época em que eu tive o primeiro contato com o Progressive House (2003 a 2007). 

Apesar dos recursos serem mais escassos que hoje em dia e até mesmo a tecnologia para masterização das faixas, são músicas atemporais que poderão ser tocadas a qualquer momento.

Uma oportunidade para relembrar como era o Progressive naquela época ou se você não conhecia, uma chance de descobrir.
