From ancient Gelderland and its city of new church, Alex O’Rion rises “Around Us”. A glittering edifice with crisp percussive foundations and bassline shines with melodic intensity. Ukrainian talent Cherry (UA) lands on Siona Records with three of his rugged techno-disco cuts. They have previously landed on the likes Disco Halal and once again here shoot you into outer space.

Mantra is a dazzling opener with sci-fi chords extending out to the heavens. It's the sort of track that will get hands in the air and lock the crowd in a groove. Himera then opens up with more scintillating synth designs, which are layered over sleek drums and make for a nice expansive atmosphere. Pifia then has a more dark and late night energy, with charging hits and exotic leads that are worldy and majestic.

This is another on point EP from Cherry (UA).

Each new week brings without more red hot techno from the Dear Deer crew, and this time out it is Ukrainian duo Artaria &, Jean Vayat ft. U.S vocalist Evelynka who serves up new single Sun Is Setting while Rafael Cerato remix.

The original version is a far-sighted techno track with astral synths. It gets you in a daze and has you lost in a reverie of pads and rolling kicks, while the angelic vocal floats up top and adds layers of human emotion. The remix is more tense, with edgy synths looping beneath crashing hits. Progressive, cinematic, and well designed!
