Polyptych Stories | Episode #183 - Disalazar

Cover 1 is a "1vs1" defensive concept used in American Football. If the person you're defending wins the "1vs1”, the other team could get a first down or score a touchdown, which is very bad and something Defensive Backs strive to avoid at all costs!

As a former Division 1AA Defensive Back and having one of the best Defensive Back coaches in the US, Aaazar Abdul Rahim, as my former high school coach and trainer, the pressure of "1vs1" defending became something I looked forward to. So to put a bow on this description, I feel the same way when I DJ so I figured, WTH, COVER 1 it is..Lol 🤷🏾‍♂️

Nonetheless, here’s COVER 1, I hope you enjoy it.

Playing at Coachella for the first time was a surreal experience. The Do Lab stage, with all the vibrant colors, stood out as one of the most beautiful and inviting space at the festival. But what truly made it special was the incredible vibe: positive, cool, and utterly infectious.

In this set, I mixed a selection of both released tracks and unreleased IDs, and I was aiming to capture and amplify the energy of that unforgettable California day.
