The combined talents of Aaron Suiss & Mayro provide a slice of underground heaven for the 95th release on Darin Epsilon's Perspectives Digital!

From the US east coast to southeast Thailand, Aaron Suiss is firmly ensconced in his adopted Koh Phangan home.  Renowned for the monthly Full Moon Party, the Thai island is the perfect location for Suiss to spread "love and joy through music".  A rapidly rising figure and label manager for Stan Kolev & Matan Caspi's best-selling Outta Limits, Suiss' own work for the imprint has seen Top 5 Beatport hits with 2020's "Legend" and "Anomalous", the latter with Kolev himself.  Currently a Beatport Top 30 Progressive House artist, Suiss is a producer very much at the center of the electronic dance music scene.

From Buenos Aires, Pablo Maneiro is another artist riding the crest of a wave within the modern dance scene.  With a 12 year career that took off with his Mayro alias in 2016, the Argentinean has seen his stock rise rapidly since 2018 with a century of production credits for the likes of Siona Records, Heinz Music, Lost On You, Dear Deer, Area Verde, and his own Traful imprint.

A pounding kick creates the backbone for "What You Believe" as the bass and percussive syncopation create club-friendly vibrancy.  Subtle melodic touches reveal themselves across the early stages in majestic fashion before a powerful breakdown, full of intensity, showcases a bassline variation that erupts into the second half with seething menace.

Continuing the musical narrative, "Ride" is an immaculately conceived track that bristles with rhythmic intent before the baseline provides the dancefloor’s foundation.  Evolving with a sublimely programmed melody that drifts in and out of the metronomic backdrop with ease, it twinkles across the stereo spectrum before shining unencumbered at the midpoint breakdown.  Hitting its stride once more in the second half, the combination of effects and filtered melody provide a magical voyage.

“Emerther” is one of the leader alien species in the “Council of 5”, which was found in KGB files to be a council of five extraterrestrial species that protect earth against other malignant aliens and from our own human self-destruction. 

This progressive title single is inspired by the “Emerthers” species with amazing bass groove, deep atmospheres and hypnotic melodies. Morttagua’s traditional infectious riff melodies and 4d sound design mix down are coupled with Melody Stranger‘s percussion work and complex FX design, to make a huge underground dance floor tune for the ages! Tash's Movement Recordings closes out the month of August by welcoming Amono Dio to the label for their debut EP. Comprised of Kevin Sunray and Roni Iron, the Amono Dio project first emerged earlier this year with a string of releases via Italy's Frequenza Records. Both well established in their respective solo careers, Kevin and Roni boast a collective discography with projects via Armada, Blackhole, Kingstreet, Ministry of Sound, Nitegrooves and more. No stranger to Movement Recordings, Roni's label debut came in 2015 with a well received remix of 'Candy Lips' by T.Pals and John Teki, before going on to contribute original productions to the label's 'Modern Filosophy' and 'Technical Progress' collections, as well as his own EP project 'Hidden Places' which landed in 2020. Now making a welcome return to the Movement, Roni pairs with Kevin Sunray as Amono Dio for a two-track showcase entitled 'Sophocles', alongside remixes from Peter Makto and Reboq.

Returning to the label and providing the lone interpretation of 'Electra' is Peter Makto. The Hungarian artist and Truesounds label boss has firmly etched his place in the electronic underground with releases via Hoomidaas, The Soundgarden, Where The Heart Is and more. Having made his label debut alongside occasional studio partner Gregory S in 2019, Peter now returns in solo capacity for a spirited take on 'Electra'. Fluid and groovy in equal measure, it's a mix that carries the sensibility of the original, while adding a deeper vibe through meditative arps and fuzzed out effects. Building beautifully into the main break, nostalgic chord changes add an emotive flair, while ghostly vocal choirs eventually give way to buzzing tonal themes and a tastefully tranquil conclusion.
