'Dunkelheit welcomes back the team-up of Berlin producers Guzy and Deckert for 'Funkenflug EP', a powerfully captivating and diverse package containing two wild and groundbreaking original tracks, each accompanied by a massive remix.

Guzy's stylish exposition of groove meets Deckert's spectacular guitar skills for a fantastic and wonderfully unexpected result. 'Funkenflug' kicks it off with the towering energy of distorted riffs, hypnotic leads, and tight percussion; this is techno that smashes boundaries and pushes the musical envelope to a whole new echelon. Next up is 'Fainting', a house anthem that pays homage to the legendary bass tones of The Faint. Merging Guzy's production chops with Deckert's lethal bass guitar hooks, this is a dangerously addictive item best enjoyed at savage volume levels.

For the remixes, first up is Shanghai-based newcomer Final Request, rearchitecting 'Funkenflug' into a high-speed orbital vehicle for the dancefloor. Riffs are skillfully layered onto plucky bass with just a hint of acid, and flowing through it is a bright progressive energy that will move the crowd onto a far higher trajectory. Finally, Italian maestro Carlo Whale pours in his conservatory-trained melodic magic for an epic remix of 'Fainting'. Tremendously deep and uplifting, Carlo's exposition brims with nostalgia and yearning, a wide horizon of cinematic pads and silky textures throw open heavy doors, straight into the listener's heart.'

Innellea’s original ‘Colante’ contains very strong, domineering kicks and melodies, which control and confound the track’s pace, constantly teasing your ears. Nick Devon takes on his own approach with ‘Colante’, adding his own flavours and tempo, as this tastefully composed track slinks shyly into your mind.

‘Galangant’, a spicy track best served hot, features beautifully arranged synths which lure and capture your soul and heart simultaneously. The intelligent use and variation of highs has made a creatively curious composition. When Summer in Berlin is just as great, you can't do nothing but getting amazing music out of your studio. This is what happened with Einmusik and these three shinning tracks forming the upcoming EP on Sincopat. On remix duties we have back on board another German star: Gabriel Ananda.
 
Samuel Kindermann aka Einmusik opens the pack with the beautiful and also powerful melodic composition of ‘Sponge’. Adding hypnotism to the party, this first song reaches madness in the breakdown. Things get deeper with ‘Sa Trincha’ and its delicate layers of synths.  This amazing second plate builds patiently towards an incredible journey which is twisted into the 90s flavor with the Gabriel Ananda remix. This extraordinary rework definitely takes ‘Sa Trincha’ to the next level. Last but not at least, ‘Pulsar’ offers the emotional and vibrant textures of the most elegant atmospheres, closing the musical spectrum of this rich EP.

Hicky & Kalo's Montreal-based imprint Plaisirs Sonores Records continues its rapid ascension to the fore of the scene with a lethal new two track EP led the label bosses themselves. The original cut from the Canadian pair is titled 'Astre', and it comes strapped an inimitable remix from ethereal techno master and founder of Steyoyoke; Soul Button.

'Astre' is a memorable melodic anthem with a signature groovy rhythm, it's certain to light up the dance-floor.

Since 2016, Soul Button has only ever released music via his own label, so it is a very special occasion as Hicky & Kalo welcome him to the ranks of Plaisirs Sonores. His remix of 'Astre' is a beautiful dreamy piece with angelic bells and hypnotic shakers.

If heavy industry is a thing of the past, no-one told Identified Patient. For the past few years, he has been a one-man factory: by day, assembling component parts of acid, techno and all varieties of wave (dark, cold, minimal) on the production line; by night, a DJ dynamo pulsing with so much energy he could power a small city. His style is the kind of churning, lithe, fractured machine funk that could make Trent Reznor weep with envy – mean but clean, sinister and stomping but crucially, never overconfident or overblown. After two show-stopping performances at the parent festival last year, Signals In Snakes marks Identified Patient’s first Dekmantel release, for the technoid UFO sub-label.

Opener “The Drip” lives up to its namesake, slowly lowering elements into the field of play with partner in crime Sophie Du Palais. No prizes for guessing what exactly might be dripping through this fetishistic slow burner, so we’ll let your sordid imagination run wild. “Let Me Do It” takes the pent-up anguish and lets rip with the mood of unearthed electrical wires sending sparks flying, an upscaling of intensity that continues on “Chantal Chant.” Envisioned as the moments of tension before a gladiator fight in ancient Greece, the acidysound is that of barely restrained militant chaos. Our battered fighter’s swan-song, “Lucy’s Comeback,” marshals the dark undercurrents of bass and brings us to a close. Giving a new lick of shiny paint to a well-weathered industrial exoskeleton, Signals In Snakes is one to unify the cold-blooded villains and hot-blooded lovers all summer long.

The @Mordisco_Official DJ and production duo return to Canadian label @My-Favorite-Robot-Records for a stellar new single with quality remixes from Sascha Funke and Javi Redondo.

Angel and Hugo hail from Grenada in the south of Spain and first came together in 2011. They craft mid-tempo house, disco and techno that makes a lasting impression thanks to its opulent bass sounds, synth melodies and hypnotic percussion. They also run and are residents at their own Mordisco party as well as playing around the rest of Europe and releasing on labels like My Favorite Robot’s MFR Red Series, Paper Recordings and Midnight Riot Records.

Superb opener ‘Nocta’  has dub disco flavours embellished with slick synth work and a real sense of cosmic serenity. It’s an elongated cut that really takes you on an adventure. Whilst, @SaschaFunkeOfficial the master of warm, deep sounds is in fine form as he flips it into a mellifluous and glowing, retro tinged disco house track with rich synth layers.
