After rounding up his Signature Series trilogy, on which Manual Music label boss Paul Hazendonk released six brand new originals in the course of the past year, now it's time for the remixes!

Paul personally selected the artists who will each remix one of the songs from his Signature Series trilogy. These artists are amongst his personal favorites and the sound they bring to the table reflect the philosophy of his labels- as well as his sound as a DJ; versatile, not limited to one particular genre but all in a certain mood / vibe.

This first remix EP kicks off with Arina Mur's remix for 'X Is Forever'. The Russian based artist has been turning head ever since she entered the scene last year with her incredible high quality productions across the deep house spectrum. She has delivered something truly special here and it's the ideal way to kick off this strong three-tracker.

Next up it's German producer fran&co, also a fast emerging name in the world of electronic music, not in the last place because of his popular Mad Hatter label. He has taken on remix duties for 'Unagi' in his trademark melodic techno sound. Proper rocker!

And last but not least it's a producer who can't do wrong at the moment; Colombian progressive house heavy weight Kamilo Sanclemente. It seems as if everything this man touches turns into gold and his rework for Paul's 'XOS' is no exception. You just know the progressive house crowd is going to devour this one!

Mulya and Sobek author our next Chapter, reprising a creative relationship which has already borne significant fruit. Their work has seen them find a home together with labels including Monaberry and TAU, while they have been picked up individually by imprints including Bedrock and Get Physical.

Here they offer three big hitters. Title track Mirrored Screen opens things in style, its chunky afro techno groove offset by an enigmatic synth line and a choppy single note pattern that is laden with tension. Tribal vocals add to the mix before the main hook opens out and satisfyingly hits home.

Shaking Hands is the follow up, built around a distorted, pitching percussive groove for a determinedly heads down, wild affair that is bound to move the dancefloor.

Rounding things off, Hard Curve is just as heavyweight. Equally moody and foreboding as it is hypnotic and driving, it comes paired with an Edition by breakout artist Rinzen (mau5trap). Rinzen's rework is progressive and euphoric, communicating and deploying a sense of scale that is reminiscent of classic Sasha or Stephan Bodzin.

Rinzen's Edition makes for a fitting closer to a very strongly rounded EP from Mulya & Sobek.

Atlant closes out a landmark year by compiling a range of music to add value, strength and depth to any discerning DJ’s folder of essentials.

Here we call on members of the Atlant family old and new after BOg welcomed the likes of Darlyn Vlys, GHEIST, LKF Project, Yost Koen, Andy Bros and Losless to the fold in 2019. All artists brought their unique vision, sound and creativity to produce music that will endure the test of time.


This compilation also draws on game changing remixes by Fideles and Mind Against that obliterated dance-floors and sound systems across the globe in 2019. Both these tracks get a huge reaction every time they are played and should come with a warning, so please handle responsibly.

As a label it is great to see how Atlant artists Innellea, Glowal, Mulya and Night Talk have grown and developed their sound - since appearing on the labels we love like Afterlife, Innervisions, TAU, Multinotes and ELEMENTS. Here we feature their timeless tracks that are always in BOg’s Rekordbox on the road.

Thank you to everyone for all your support in 2019. These are exciting times and we have big plans already in the works for 2020.

Andy Bros - Back To The World

We welcome back Miikka Leinonen serving up a fiery little number cleverly name after his daughter 'Lumi' for release 383. Miikka gave us this quote when we asked him about the story behind the track 'This is my tribute to finnish oldschool trance called kiksu back in 2000's when Sandstorm was fresh and trance still cool. Track itself is summery, dramatic and uplifting. It is my best solo work so far and Im proud to name it after my daughter'. On remixes duties we have Kayan Code.

The Original mix has a haunting atmosphere, a monster driving bassline and chunky percussion flow along with a lot of vibrancy. The breakdown starts of subtle and takes you on a journey of the gods with luscious keys and stunning vocal building out into a huge melody and drop. Raw power and drive, outstanding track for Miikka and a very fitting tribute.

On remix duties we have the mighty Kai Harmaala & Janne Hautala aka Kayan Code who needs no introduction. Giving 'Lumi' a slightly more uplifting / powerful take by pushing the tempo a little and giving a real hands in the air feel in the breakdown. Outstanding remix.

After five years of existence, Magnetik Music label has reached a new milestone and stepped into 2020 with releasing various artist compilation. A selection, carefully selected and crafted by new generation artists that are already stepping under the spotlight attention.
The Netherlands duo is developing into music act that you should definitely keep an ear on. After their successful debut EP they are back on Magnetik with and excellent trancy influenced deep melodic techno track with signature Convolute drive.

Leading Belgian house artist Nico Morano begins 2020 with a bang in the form of the Resilio EP. The collaboration alongside Danish artist Radeckt also features a remix from Night Talk on Récits de Mars. 

They became friends after Radeckt sent demos to Morano's Atmosphere Records. Two of them got released and a joint passion for melodic dance floor material brought them together properly here on these majestic new cuts. 

‘Resilio’ is a superb six minute journey built on jacked-up house drums but with a heady lead synth line. It's hypnotic and colourful land exudes plenty of futuristic atmosphere. ‘Mistella’ then keeps it deep with big rubber kick drums and a more edgy synth line that is perfect for later in the night. 

Night Talk remixes and takes ‘Resilio’ down a heady path of chattery percussion and loopy drums that firmly lock you in the groove.'

The album begins with a remix of Soul Button's "Buoyant" by biskuwi. He adds a darker and dramatic feel, leading the way to an inspiring journey. Next, Soul Button's remix of "Kerfuffle" by biskuwi puts you in a dreamlike state with its smooth melodic blend and darker tunes. Next up is Monarke & SEVN’s, "Brahma", remixed by Rustboy will take you to a true transcendental experience. The fourth track by Baset, "Oceana", remixed by Monarke & SEVN, kicks off with a dark vibe leading the way towards a haunting trip with fast-paced beats and striking soundscapes. Anders.’s  “Parapluie" is then remixed by Morphing Spot. A smooth cut with vibrant synths, pushing you upwards all the way to the end. The following track is Rustboy’s, "Precious Thing", remixed by Mashk. It starts off with a cinematic feel and slowly invites you into a state of trance with its positive tunes and crispy hi-hats. Morphing Spot’s, "Obsidian", remixed by Fresen is a more dynamic version of the original with the vocals transporting you to an overwhelming & joyful frame of mind. The last track is an acoustic edit of Rustboy's "Precious Thing", the perfect closure of this soul-stirring track-list. 
 
The remixes on this album showcase the work of some of Inner Symphony's phenomenal artists by adding their stunning touch and delivering a memorable release.

Wow, hadn't realised what a journey SoundCloud would take me on.  After many years of passive listening to music I've dieted on a variety of tastes. My appetite for new sounds is undiminished and SC provides plenty of food. I am not a musician and have only recently started to listen positively to the sounds. My early years began listening to music from ABC, The Beatles, The Carpenters Dire Straits Eagles Fleetwood Mac Genesis Elton John Led Zeppelin Gilbert O'Sullivan Rod Stewart Supertramp Tangerine Dream Vangelis The Who and many more.
If you can't spot a trend in my current likes it may be because it is diverse. I love listening to all my playlists which contain tracks that I like and if you like any of the music you must thank the artists not me.
