Love is the main quantum agent of the universe, it is a factor of transformation that crosses dimensions. It is a powerful feeling that freely permeates all levels of consciousness expansion. The vibrational intensity of feelings of love is one of the most intense topics of study by quantum physicists, who work from a pertinent premise: is love quantifiable?

Using melodic techno as a driving force to interpret this idea, Brazilian DJ and producer Cé-u was based on the 2014 film Interstellar. The EP "Deriva" is a beautiful musical journey that includes a sample of a important speech by one of the characters in the film, Dr. Brand, in which she reminds us that we don't yet consciously understand the power of love, but that it is a measurable and powerful energy.

Through chunky drops that follow exciting melodic structures, Cé-u embarks on the unknown to make us feel the power of love instead of trying to understand it. As in the film on which it was based, its two tracks, "Drift" and "Falling", produce frequencies that merge with our own feeling. What a pleasure to welcome this artist to our release #44!

Tonight It's Party Time

After the huge success of his "Despertar" LP release, Piek is straight back in the saddle to deliver another thrilling workout, this time it’s a family affair. 

Two separate ‘Despertar’ remixed EP’s in late June full of unreleased gems – new interpretations of Henry Saiz, Eelke Klejin, El_Txef_A, AFFKT, Reykjavik606, Upercent, Carlo and Third Son- and then, a full-packed album this Fall 2017 including another couple of unpublished reworks.

On the ‘side B’ another exciting bunch of great artists and their re-interpretations. The first to make his appearance is the finest Dutch composer at the moment Eelke Klejin. His work on “Avalanche” is a modern and melodic piece of house very well outlined by vapored Hokhok dream-pop vocals. He really knows how to deal with catchy voices; he has a well-known remix for the highly respected band Arcade Fire (“Reflektor”). Pure summer with a smart and a gentle cinematic touch. 
Sincopat’s patron AFFKT is the next to redesign an original cut. All his efforts are for “Despertar”. The result is a seamless journey through the inimitable 'AFFKTstyle' of house, techno and electronica putting the listener at the core of his musical psyche. 
No less solid is Upercent’s “Breathe” remix, which will definitely work on any dance floor. He takes the original track –including Kash vocals- into a deeper space, implementing lively bass drones. A blast. And finally, “I Saw You” this time reinvented by Carlo. A house track where drums, bass guitar notes and sliced vocals spin around each other in fluidly choreographed routines.
