Esse remix nasceu de uma Inspiração nos meus tempos passados como DJ de Psytrance, A versão de Logica (Antigo projeto de Psytrance do Alok e Bahskar) desta faixa lá por volta de 2009 foi uma das músicas que marcou fortemente esta minha época. Em uma tarde nostálgica do ano passado, resolvi criar minha própria versão dela, combinando o lado poderoso do Techno Melódico e Progressive House atual com o antigo Full On.

This remix was born from an inspiration of my golden days as a Psytrance DJ. Logica's (Old Psytrance project of Alok & Bahskar) version of this track back in 2009 was one of the songs that strongly marked this time of mine. On a nostalgic afternoon last year, I decided to create my own version of it, combining the powerful side of current Melodic Techno and Progressive House with the old Full On.

Transensations Records opens the month of November welcoming RUBEN KARAPETYAN back to the label with the single THE TRUTH , alongside top notch remixes from FELIPE NOVAES, ORNERY , MATT OLIVER & MIND ECHOES. Born in Armenia but now calling Los Angeles home, Ruben Karapetyan quickly emerged as a hyped talent in the trend-driven state of progressive house becoming one of the main genre actual artists. Title theme is anchored by a warm and rippling groove, emerging melodies with a denser and more rhythmic ambience creates a hypnotic atmosphere bound to conquer the dance floor audience. The first remix comes from the Brazilian talented producer Felipe Novaes with releases on D NOX Sprout label and Univack, Felipe returns to Transensations with a stunning remix, presenting a perfect balance of warmth and fluid rhythms, obscure melodies groove and atmospheric textures. Next remix comes from the Germany based artist Ornery, which drifts closer to melodic techno territory with growling synths and dark, chugging grooves . Closing the EP, the Brazilian rising talents Matt Oliver and Mind Echoes, presents a remix witch crafts a gorgeous lead line and balmy atmospherics for sure fire dance floor elation. This EP is a must-have for the progressive house lovers. Make sure you don't miss it!

The latest edition of our free download series welcomes Hugo Cantarra and PLN with their rework of ‘Intro’ by The XX. Hailing from France, Hugo Cantarra has been a fixture of the house music underground for the better part of a decade. On the strength of early releases via Armada and SIZE Records, Hugo established a sound that was both memorable and club-effective, propelling him to subsequent projects via Anjunadeep, Cr2, Siona Records and Ultra; amongst others. Now a staple of the melodic house scene, the French artist has the distinction of racking up 41 millions streams and 1.5 million shazams, while remixing the likes of Danny Howard, Eli & Fur, Gorgon City and Technotronic, in turn earning the praise of Adriatique, Blondish, Camelphat, Chris Avantgarde, Kevin De Vries and Vintage Culture. Also a well-travelled DJ, Hugo has shared the booth with a bevy of top international tastemakers in Adam Beyer, Carl Cox, Guy Gerber, David Guetta, Fatboy Slim, Meduza, Roger Sanchez and WhoMadeWho. A highlight and much requested track across Hugo’s 2024 gigs has been a rework of ‘Intro’ by The XX. Written in conjunction with elusive Polish artist and bootleg aficionado PLN, the duo’s rework has been a festival and club highlight this past year, championed by the likes of Eli & Fur who premiered it at the Yuma tent at Coachella to a resounding response, as well as Cosmic Gate, Korolova and Vintage Culture.
