Toto Chiavetta was born in Catania in a family where music surely was not at its centre. Neverthless he started collecting music at a young age, djing a few years later and finally began the journey into music production with very basic rudimen- tary equipment at the age of fourteen. Wanting to broaden his experiences, he cultivated his passion for music production and djing, collecting vinyl upon vinyls.
By the 1998, Toto had the opportunity to open parties for many of the most famous house music djs in the world and play different venues. Afterwards, he travelled to differetn countries and finally ended up in the city that was the centre of the music and culture that, at that time, was dear to his heart - New York City.
Since then he has played many venues internationally and release his music for different records label such as Yoruba, Innervisions and his own label - Borders Of Light.

Milan based producer and DJ he started to captive attention of international audience bringing a surreal beauty to his innovative brand of electronic composition and releasing music on renowned labels as Innervisions, Afterlife, Kompakt, Multinotes and Frau Blau.
His approach also carries through to his DJ performances with his sets that showcase his hypnotic storytelling that starting from his residency at renowned Volt Club in Milan, leading him all around Europe, Middle East and Africa. I’d like to take a moment to talk about hope, a beautiful thing that helps us through times of darkness, times like now. Having that little bit of hope drives us towards our pursuits and propels us to achieve our dreams. It also keeps us afloat when everything is seemingly going wrong, when we feel that we’re drowning.   

Last year the world was cancelled and life came to a standstill. It was the beginning of a seemingly never-ending period of anxious times, missed experiences, lost loved ones and vanished hopes. And here we are, one year later, in much of the same situation. My contribution to these hard times is another mix, intended to bring you just that little bit of comfort and a sense of hope.
