There is no substitute for experience, and we are all the product of our influences. Damon Jee is the embodiment of that statement. Over the last 20 years, he has carved a career in a very unassuming way, unintentionally writing an exciting new chapter for the global electronic music scene. He is the journeyman who managed to shine brighter by staying true to himself, a musical alchemist experimenting with different sounds to create a deadly new potion. Today, the producer is considered the leading exponent of a fresh and exciting new scene many are calling Dark Disco. 

Getting his start in the studio alongside fellow Frenchman Olivier Giacomotto, the duo became leading players on the then-booming electro house scene with an impressive run of productions on labels like Definitive and CR2. As he started producing more solo works, Jee naturally veered towards his rebellious heritage growing up on nineties rock and industrial bands like Nine Inch Nails, The Pixies, Nirvana and more. The organic appeal of live rock seeped into his productions: distorted guitars gliding atop fat, off-beat and two-fingered picked bass, all framed within a foundation of percussion and drums that carries Damon Jee’s perfectly engineered and distinct sound. The music released under his NOZZ moniker is soaked in this unique and heavy-duty sound: powerful productions which double up as heat-seeking missiles aimed straight at the dancefloor’s heart.

It was his remix of Pardon Moi’s ‘Power to the People’ that really saw a rise in the likeable Frenchman’s profile. It has it all: trance melodies and cosmic chords, a confidant rock stomp coiled with electronic euphoria, and robotic vocals gleefully riding a wave of energetic drums. It received support from the world’s best tastemakers including Solomun, Job Jobse and HAAi, introducing Damon Jee to a brand new audience. 

Today his singular sound can be heard on the underground’s most sought-after labels including Roam, Hafendisko, Suara and Sincopat to name a few. Huge support came in the form of Jennifer Cardini who signed his massive three-track Chamaniac EP to her Correspondant Records. The EP received support from various corners of the electronic music sphere with a diverse group of DJs from Andrew Weatherall to Dixon to Joris Voorn all getting around it.

The natural evolution of Damon Jee leads to the recent launch of his label, Dust & Blood. The new imprint will explore Damon Jee’s distinctive sound even further. 

Today Damon Jee is slotting perfectly into his role as a bona fide headliner. Years of experience ensure each set is delivered with confidant ease and professionalism that sets him apart. Modular Project is an eclectic Italian duo formed in 2014 by Alberto Iovine and Alessandro Fumagalli. Their style influenced by Italo Disco, New Wave and Rock sounds from the 80's is very recognizable because they merge Electronic, Indie and Techno using powerful drums, driving synths making an emotional impact. At the beginning of 2017 they remixed the Blond:ish classic 'Wizard Of Love' on Rebirth Records that it was one of the most requested tracks on the label of the last years. Thanks to this collaboration with the Italian label, they opened their own imprint 'Nothing Is Real' and in the meantime they joined as resident djs VOLT club in Milan having the pleasure of playing alongside renowned names such as Ellen Allien, Mano Le Tough, Barnt, Peggy Gou, Kiasmos, Pional and more.

Sylvain Soulier a.k.a Darlyn Vlys French born but Valencia (Spain) based, is inspired by a variety of artistic and musical influences, offering distinctive atmospherics that go far beyond sound. Managing to capture both nostalgic and futuristic sonic experiences, his experimental and stylistic approach creates electronic music that grabs your attention through sharp production and cinematic moods.

Darlyn’s visceral voice is currently in demand, with releases on labels like GetPhysical, Correspondant, My Favorite Robot – to name a few. And plays by a range of wide reaching DJs including Maceo Plex, Loco Dice, Black Coffee, Ame, Jennifer Cardini, Dixon, Mind Against... 

Using an emotionally invested approach to his music, his debut album “Prince In The Rain” is full of deeply moving tracks that showcase his range of styles and vibes to capture your senses and encourage you to surrender.

His single "Horse", released on (Feb. 2019) label Atlant, is fine testimony to his capacity to deliver the very best electronic music. First discovered by Âme & Dixon during their Innervisions hosted at the Royal Albert Hall 2018 event, frequently heard in Black Coffee or Tale Of Us sets, "Horse" is a melodic techno masterpiece built on a strummed bass-line and organic percussion which immediately draw you into Darlyn's electronic universe.

2020 looks to be even promising with Eps signed on Correspondant, Duro and Roam.
