SCI+TEC celebrates a pivotal moment in its history with the release of ‘I Feel Speed (2025 Remixes),’ a special project revisiting one of Dubfire’s earliest solo works and one of the label’s foundational releases. Originally released in 2007, Dubfire’s cover of Love and Rockets’ ‘I Feel Speed’ marked a bold venture into uncharted territory, with the Grammy-winning artist taking on vocal duties himself to reimagine the iconic ballad.

This release brings together a stellar list of artists, each offering a distinctive interpretation of the classic. SNYL, whose admiration for the original track sparked the project, delivers a rework that strikes a balance between reverence and reinvention.

Back with his newest single, Stil vor Talent boss Oliver Koletzki dishes out a pair of fun-loving, no-nonsense floor heaters ready to take on dance floors this summer with poise and precision. Boasting unrelenting basslines and epic-sized buildups, 'Weirdo' finds Koletzki pulling out a wide-spanning arsenal of electrifying synth talk, rugged snares and altered, droid-esque vox bound to fling ravers into orbit without further ado. Doped on an anthemic chorus and strapping, bass-heavy crescendo, the track reels off as a proper monster club-buster, tailored to whip up crowds into a frenzy. Trading the more corseted groove of the lead track for a further jagged, arrhythmic bounce, 'I Don't Wanna' is electronic dance music at its sauciest. Kitted up with the kind of tendinous floor attributes - a mix of sturdy yet elastic bass, laserlike machine funk, fevered percussions and mischievously processed vocals leading the charge, the track has us going off the deep end into the zone when that bass drops. Cheeky workout vibes aplenty.

Premiere: John Cala, Rivellino - Afterparty [Automatik]

Madloch's 3rd Avenue presents the second installment of remixes for Jares – Sam's Voyage, Pt. 4, continuing the story of one of the label's most personal and heartfelt releases. Following the first remix edition featuring Cary Crank and Gone Deville, this new chapter invites two returning artists to reinterpret Jares' touching tribute to his late brother.

The first remix comes from Taylan, a US producer who made his 3rd Avenue debut earlier this year with a rework for Kirwan & Lucas Ramos. Known for his deep, melodic sound and releases on labels such as Sunexplosion, Univack, Mango Alley, and MNL, Taylan delivers a graceful and emotionally rich interpretation.

The EP is completed by Raul Suarez, an Argentinian artist based in the mountain city of Bariloche, who returns to the label after contributing three remixes over the past two years. His version brings a warm, textured approach, blending organic depth with subtle progressive energy. Together, these two reinterpretations offer a fitting continuation of the Sam's Voyage, Pt. 4 story, enriching its emotional landscape while keeping the spirit of the original intact.

Jares - Sam's Voyage, Pt. 4 (Taylan Remix) [3rd Avenue]

Veteran French electroclash artist Electrosexual, a key figure in shaping the genre's sound alongside peers like Miss Kittin and The Hacker, unveils his “Like That” EP on Rock Machine Records, featuring Franco-Vietnamese vocalist Nicky Miller. This collaborative multi-track offering captures the raw energy of their spontaneous live chemistry, fusing Electrosexual's signature analogue production with Miller's haunting and emotive vocals. The result is a politically charged and liberating statement, featuring hypnotic, acid-driven productions tailored for the intelligent dance floors out there. The package is completed by a distinctive remix from the acclaimed UK duo Hence, whose Daryl Bamonte boasts an extensive legacy working with icons like Depeche Mode and The Cure, adding a stripped-back, moody atmosphere to the release.

Premiered here, "Lèvres Roses (Version de Nuit)" emerges as a deep-hued bonus track, submerging the listener in its immersive, late-night world. Previously released in 2022 on KlubKid Records, the theme makes a triumphant return on "Like That," woven with intricate acid layers that twist and turn over a bedrock of steely drums. Ethereal, trippy pads float through the mix, creating a vast, atmospheric space for Nicky Miller's intimate and sensual vocal delivery. This version amplifies the track's raw, hypnotic quality, transforming it into a subterranean pulse of pure nocturnal energy.
