Ventured many years together in the darkest depths of techno, these 2 frequencies collided with an outburst of energy. Equipped with a melodic, rumbling and driving dedication to their passion, their journey began many years ago. It was in 2018 when they took the MUSICASA producers education to pursue their dream. This duo, knowing each other for over a decade, has 1 single goal: to adjust your mind. 2020’s proven to be their first and firm step into pursuing their dream. Hosting a podcast (Adjust (BE) Invites) where they’re inviting numerous DJ’s/Producers to make a signature guest set in these difficult times, being a member of the ‘Underground Kollektiv Radio’ show, performed on livestreams and having a second release in 2021, they’re moving with full force. Their style can be best described als ‘energetic’, ‘no-nonsense’ and ‘emotional’ in a wide range of the techno genre, however they prefer to go head-on full melodic into the deepest and more emotional sides of techno.

March '20 - our dancefloors shut, the rave stops. Today, more than a year later, we're still waiting for our favorite clubs to reopen their doors and our favorite festival to enchant us yet another time. We all miss our chance to gather in warm crowds, share a smile with a stranger and shake off the burdens of everyday life on the dance floor. It's a challenging time for the scene, mentally and physically. But lo and behold, sooner or later, social isolation will come to an end and there will be a REVIVAL.

After months of planning & scheming, we're hyper-excited to present our very first label release - a 10 track compilation to revive our dancefloors after their dormancy. The full compilation will be released throughout summer ’21.

We’re closing off with a big bang: Five original tracks by six of our absolute favorite artists! Anakim, Mila Journée, Starkato & Intaktogene, Yeröm & Fabian Vieregge. First off is 'April' by Starkato & Intaktogene, a powerful & emotional dance floor romancer that invites your bodies and souls to shake and dream. 

All revenue goes to the artist and 15% of royalties are donated to help people in the poorest parts of Africa thanks to our distribution partner Forward.

Dark Matter is the stage name of two Israeli brothers from Tel Aviv, Chen and Dor, whose career as producers began in 2019. Having transited through some other styles at the beginning of those productions, they have finally anchored their sound in Melodic Techno.
Their debut release for Awen Records is the EP called Perception. The title track is based on a hypnotic rhythmic pattern to which different melodic pads are added in a journey with different sonic heights. A remix by Cypriot duo Paul Angelo & Don Argento completely tweaks the rhythmic base without losing any of the original spirit.

Out of Bounds is built from an epic and dark intro that is reinforced well into the track with Tom Shwartz's vocal contribution and some haunting piano notes, resulting in a track full of dark matter energy. To complete the EP comes Aurora, an emotional outpouring full of suggestive melody and constant rhythmic cadence to close the release with a beautiful flavour.

The latest release from Tash’s Movement Recordings finds Lastraw and Nine Collins returning to the label for their debut EP. The former has enjoyed a near decade long career as a producer, showcasing his techno sounds via Exotic Refreshment, Rhythmetic Records and Us and Them Records. Meanwhile, Nine Collins has enjoyed similar success as a DJ, playing some of Greece's trendiest venues such as Tokyo City Bar, Club Division and The Real Rock n Rolla. With a contribution to the Movement Recordings 'Technical Progress' Vol. 11 collection and the ‘Her Kind’ EP for label affiliate Astral Records both landing earlier this year, Lastraw and Nine Collins now return to Movement with ‘Wonder Mind’, alongside a remix from Circle of Life.

Beginning with ‘Wonder Mind’, Lastraw and Nine Collins deliver one of their best productions to date. Led by a warm rolling groove, pulsating rhythms and astral stabs, its ethereal nature captivates from the outset. Dark and spacious across the first act, its emotive sensibility rises as glowing pads blanket the electric groove as cosmic effects continue to provide dramatic moments. Stripping down into the main break a warmer sensibility rises as cascading sonics cluster amidst a haze of colour and harmony, eventually giving way to the energetic groove and astral lead for a stunning finale. 

The second selection ‘Galactica’ finds the duo continuing the peak times vibes set by its predecessor. Its muscular groove is perfectly sculpted, driving forward through a forest of electric rhyth ms and lively percussion. Continuing to ride on an emotional plane the main break reveals a trance - like lead and wistful atmospherics, juxtaposed perfectly and effortlessly segueing into a finale that is both tense and exhilarating.

The duo’s keen sense for the dance floor continues with the final selection ‘Lost Generation’.
Led by a warm yet punchy groove, it’s charged rhythms and mystical atmospheres unite for a captivating storyboard. Driving and energetic, astral motifs and mounds of pulsating bass delight across the first act, as whimsical motifs add depth and space leading into the main break. Ethereal and cosmic throughout the interlude, it’s flair for the dramatic continues to rise with a trail of sonic artefacts and cinematic pads sparking an understated apex and charged finale.

The release concludes with Circle of Life returning to the label and providing the lone interpretation of ‘Lost Generation’. The Serbian artist made his label debut in 2019 with the well-received 'Black Light' EP. The next calendar year would see Circle of Life forge a strong bond with the label, delivering three originals and a remix across three excellent releases. Also finding a home on Beat Boutique, BeatFreak Recordings, Suara and Sudbeat Music, Circle of Life now returns to Movement Recordings with a deadly remix of ‘Lost Generation’. Electrically charged with buoyant beats and a shapelier take on the groove, it’s buzzing energy beams brightly from the outset. Combining robust rhythms with striking electronics and a dazzlingarray of drums makes for a hugely exhilarating first act. Segueing into emotive territory, the main break melts down to a glow of impassioned chord stabs and fluttery sonics, as frayed percussion and poignant key changes rise towards a groovy finale. A brilliant remix from Circle of Life which rounds out a superb debut EP for Lastraw and Nine Collins. Highly recommended.

The Arshiyazi, Adoxa - The Host, release from Astral Records concludes with My Flower making his label debut and providing the lone interpretation of ‘Ecorche’. Born out of the Lula Circus project, My Flower first emerged in 2015 with a release via Stem Records, before going on to find a home on Hunter Game’s Just This imprint, where he has released four projects across four years with great success. Now bringing his inimitable sound to Astral Records, My Flower rounds out the release with a powerful take on ‘Ecorche’. Directing the energy of the original closer to the dance floor, the Italian artist opens up the framework for a greater sense of space while utilizing wavy, shapeshifting arps and fuzzed out sonics to create a narrative which splits time between the meditative and emotive. An inspired remix from My Flower which caps off an impressive debut for Arshiyazi and Adoxa, an artist duo you will certainly be hearing more about in 2022. Highly recommended.

The recently dawned year brings a fresh EP on Wout Records. Our sound wizard Alessio Pennati inspires with his new 3 tracker "No Time To Lose." The kicking prelude is made by the track "Onda Delta", an unleashed composition with swarm like stabs, lots of modulated pads and never ending basses. The main title is deep and trippy that navigates between restless darkness and delicate ultrasound embrace. The producer spreads a strong sense of longing underpinned by the will that there is no time to lose. The closing track "Endless Light" also hardly departs from the melancholy of the other tracks. Striking are LFO moving synthslines that pick up the listener from an everyday life. An all around skillful and complex EP that Alessio delivers us here.

mtt PREMIERE : Patrick Krause - Artificial [Astral Records]

There is a tendency within modern electronica to pigeonhole and categorise, to package music into easily digestible formulae. In direct revolt comes Dutch artist Satori and his new album Dreamin’ Colours, released globally April 22nd, 2022, on renowned imprint Crosstown Rebels. Recorded at the esteemed Sonic Vista Studios in Ibiza, the nine-track LP has been greatly anticipated off the back of its proceedings singles: Yellow Blue Bus ft. Laska, Lalai ft. Ariana Vafadari and most recently Gin Song. 

Troublemaker ft. El Mundo retains an inherent melodic quality, progressing through poignant strings and whispering kick-hat combos. It leaves us feeling pensive, as Condor ft. Ora Dea, Moshe Halperin comes next. It’s the album’s penultimate piece, one that celebrates the native people of Chile through the use of their very own language. Powerful and poignant, the mesmeric sounds of Ora Dea and Moshe meander subtly into Lonely Boy (Redux) ft. Hugo Oak. The closing saga brings things to a wonderfully subdued finish, rounding off the album on a wholeheartedly calming note.

Simone Mangano is an Italian DJ living in Milan. Since he was a child he has always been attracted to melodic sounds so in 2010 he began his career as a DJ in afternoon parties offering trance music. In 2012, together with another person, he created the M.A.D’S tech house project, releasing the first productions. In 2014 he began a new project called RESONANT mixing tech house sounds with melodies, releasing several Ep and Remixes and performing in different parties both in Italy and abroad as well as publishing several podcasts for the radio show De Party Nacht for the Dutch broadcaster Meer Radio. In 2021 he starts a new solo project called EIDEN, inspired by his trance background, proposing ethereal sounds, he also joins Sounder Academy. This mix was made in Ableton using Push2. An escalation of sound from deep to techno.

Following the release of Ascending Lights in May, Sudam Recordings boss Kintar is back on his label this July as he delivers a club focused remix of the emotive Uthando Lungihlulile by Drizzy Sam Feat. OHP Sage & Puntsa.

Speaking on Uthando Lungihlulile, Kintar explained how the "first time I listened to the original, I fell in love and was convinced I could turn this emotional track into my own club version". Keeping the beauty and emotion of the original track intact, Kintar achieves exactly this as he delivers a delicate remix that is finely tuned for euphoric dancefloor moments.

Opening with inviting chords, Kintar’s remix sees female vocals guide the listener through an array of synths. Male vocals soon follow whilst the track’s tension continues to build before both vocals unite simultaneously in a moment of euphoria.

Awen has reached release number 098, getting closer to the tree digit landmarc, we proudly present “Algiz EP”. This particular Ep finds itself strongly influenced by the Patagonian forest and its weather. It presents four cuts in which you’ll discover dark atmospheres enveloping abstract melodies, and the powerful leads that so much resonate with Awen Records.. 

“Algiz”, a Viking rune that means protection, is a dark and deep track, featuring strong arrangements. “Babel” is also deep, displaying powerful leads, abstract melodies hooked with a very special groove. For “Antartida” heavy kick and a strong bassline are the weapon of choice, for the break, dramatic increase of the lead elements. Included too, a vocal edit for “Antartida”, following the usual improvised Live vocals present on every Biotech Patagonia DJ Set.  Inspired by Deep Melodic Techno sounds, and adding live vocals to their shows, they create a fresh and unique atmosphere, every time. Based in Patagonia Argentina close to Cordillera de los Andes, surrounded by ancient forests, lakes and mountains. 

In 2018 they released their first EP called "Natura" including "Uner & Viviana Toscanini's" remix. Following, they released remixes from Saulo Pisa and Tuco. Later on Mid 2019 they signed on Solar Distance for a new release, part of Discoveries EP. During the european summer, they collaborated with a variety of artists on Running Clouds and Natura Viva with remixes and vocals. For 2020, they have a new EP and collaborations with melodic techno producers from Europe too. Playing from London, Ibiza, Madrid, Tongeren & Barcelona, performing in Patagonia, Chile, Buenos Aires, Cordoba, Mendoza, etc. Show after show they have spread their sound receiving a very positive response from the crowd.
