Der Track Astra wird den Assoziationen von unendlicher Größe, die sich bei so einem Namen unwillkürlichaufdrängen, voll und ganz gerecht. The Advocate schießt uns durch die Tiefen des Raums, wobei wir imVorbeiflug die geheimnisvollen Schallwellen von einem Wüstenplanet empfangen. In einem Paralleluniversumbefindet sich Mollono.Bass derweil auf der gleichen Reise und feiert dort so eine Art kosmischenFrühlingsausbruch. Dann leuchtet am Horizont ein glitzerndes Band Sternenstaub, das sich bei genaueremBetrachten als die Melodie von Emi Go herausstellt. Mit minimalistischer Trancigkeit wummert der Titel entlangeiner perfide fetten Bassline. Space Motion wird in seinem Remix sogar noch euphorischer und erinnert uns anjene goldenen Tage, als Techno, House und Trance nicht so klar definiert waren und noch unter dem OberbegriffSpaß Haben liefen. An diese Stimmung knüpft auch der letzte Titel Sel an, dessen Lead-Synth uns in einWellenbad der positiven Energie taucht.

The track Astra really lives up to the notion of endless space that inevitably comes with such a name. TheAdvocate sends us on a stellar journey, the trajectory of which brings us close to an alien desert planet fromwhere we receive enigmatic sonic transmissions. Meanwhile, in a parallel universe, Mollono.bass is on the sameflight but here he's apparently celebrating something like a cosmic outbreak of spring. Then we approach aglistening band of stardust which actually turns out to be the melody of Emi Go. With a minimalist, yetextremely catchy tranciness this tune comes with the beast of a bassline. Space Motion gets even moreeuphoric in his remix and reminds us of those golden days when Techno, House and Trance were not clearlydefined but basically just different aspects of Having Fun. The last track Sel picks up on exactly this sort ofatmosphere, its lead synth bathing us in waves of positive energy.

Nuno Dos Santos, the Portugal-born Dutch national has a cheeky charm about him that is difficult to escape and that works so well in his favor when taking control of the decks.

Whether it’s running his own label Something Happening Somewhere, producing music, or DJing, you can feel that Nuno is utterly in love with what he does. As an acclaimed, he has worked with artists like Patrice Baumel, Estroe and TJ Kong and has done so on labels like Compost, Planet E, Green Records, Traum and Connaisseur. His sound is created using his deep knowledge of music and veers from sublime techno to more emotional house as exemplified by classic tracks like ‘Merging’, ‘Hamming’ and ‘Mon Toy'.

As a DJ Nuno Dos Santos has headlined the most upbeat clubs around Europe and America, including residencies at Trouw and Club 11, Amsterdam, where his unique sense of musical storytelling have developed and bloomed over the years.

So, with all that we present Nuno Dos Santos magnetic translation of Christian Löffler's 'Unknown' off the upcoming "LOST" EP. With hidden voices creating a dialogue between soulful ambients and dark atmosphere, this melancholic anthems is surely reminiscent of those never ending nights.

For the second release on his new Endangered Records imprint, Brian Cid taps rising producer Justin Marchacos for an alluring 3-track EP of emotive, progressive house.

Based out of New York City, Justin first made a name for himself in the local scene with a debut performance of his live set at the Cityfox Experience a few years ago.  Since then, he’s firmly established himself in NYC as a core artist in both the ebb + flow family & Cityfox.  As a producer, he’s collaborated on his original tracks with artists like Julia Govor and Jay Tripwire, with releases & remixes on a number of labels. 

The title track ‘Kingdom’ off this EP sets the tone for the release, and shows Justin’s roots as a composer for music for films.  “As always for me it's important for my tracks to maintain a cinematic quality and be able to work effectively on a huge sound system…I really feel like exploring these ideas as well as restricting myself in some ways helped to create a sound totally new to me.”  Along with the punchy, driving bass of the second track ’Optics’, Justin also collaborates with Brian Cid to finish up the EP on ‘The Chase’.  With its dark and spacey atmospherics, combined with powerful grooves, the result of the collab is a beast of a tune.

A fantastic second release of deep, progressive house music for the label.
