Bio:

From a very young age Michael took his first steps in electronic music in Berlin where he began his musical journey. From learning the cello since a very young age he later starting getting interested in more electronic sounds and instruments and then started to DJ in mainstream clubs in Berlin at the age of 15 already. Only in 2016 he started to produce and play electronic music in the genre of melodic techno, but also tech house and minimal. Establishing his own record label "Grey Bar Hotel" with a colleague in the summer of 2018, he hosted several showcases in Germany. In 2019, when he lived in Barcelona, he became a temporary resident DJ at Ethniko Beach Club. He shared the DJ booth with DJs such as Kenny Larkin, Oxia, Rene, Alex Mullen, Anika Kunst, Lexlay, Premiesku and many more.

Criz Steel was one of the pioneers in promoting the electronic music in Cyprus. He started in 1996 with radio shows as his first contact with the field and then moved into playing as resident Dj in local clubs on a professional level. As he adored playing music, in 2003 he decided to move to Greece to study Dance Music production in SAE institute, Athens. His work portfolio includes some the most reputable local night clubs in Cyprus, most importantly in Ayia Napa. In addition, he had the opportunity to showcase his music in various places in Bulgaria, Greece and London. During his career to-date he played alongside various international Dj’s in Cyprus. In addition, he organised private parties in Cyprus to promote the electronic music, after he got his hands on the latest vinyl records hits he found from his travels abroad. 
What fascinates him the most, is finding innovative ways of approaching electronic music, by using the latest technological music advancements. Criz Steel made a pause in his career for 7 years due to family reasons but in 2019 he decided to return with a dynamic comeback to the music that he loves.
