welcome to emotion 2. yet another poorly put together mix of music i enjoy.

a lot has happened since the first mix and it's probably noticeable in the vibe of this one. back when i made emotion i was sad, poor, and alone and it was also made on a laptop and shitty earbuds. this time around, i'm a lot less sad, i have medium money and i made this on a pc and with actual headphones.

there's a lot of that in life. good, bad, confusing, messy... sometimes life doesn't go the way we want to. 
at the time i made the first one of this series, i was depressed, stuck in a dark place, but pushing myself to keep going. i made it while i was away from home, from everyone, i needed me time before i lost myself and fell back into a pit i couldn't climb out of and disappeared forever. i put it up once i got back home. by the time i got around to making the second one a year later, things had gotten better, much better, and as such the vibe was also different to reflect that. 
this year so far has been one of the best years of my life mentally but i've also had some shitty moments and this mix is kinda all over the place with the music to reflect that mess, because life gets messy but we make it work and somehow i made this mix work. each mix in this series is a journey for me, not the actual creation of it as that's quite simplistic but it's the emotions i get as i recall what i've been through over the year and sometimes even recall experiences years ago. i don't like talking about myself most of the time and to most people so for me, this is the best place for it. i get to put my emotions into something and i get to share music i like. i apologize to producers who listen to these and can hear how badly mixed/put together this is. if i was creative and knew what i was doing i'd actually make my own music instead of using other people's but thank you for taking the time to check this out nonetheless, i appreciate those of you who send me WAVs and i love all of you for creating music.

despite all that and things often not going my way, i've learned to enjoy myself and appreciate what i have and cherish those close to me and as such i hope to reflect that in my mix, because most of the time, there is a silver lining.
